HI, i'm rakshith from bangalore. I'm using libvirt in one of my work. I have a problem in using it.So i would request your guidance. I have a controller which uses libvirt to establish the connection to the managed nodes. After the connection is successful, if the network goes down, the control will indefinitely wait inside the libvirt mod functions. It will come out only after the network

FYI mail problems for libvirt lists
It has come to our attention that many, possibly even all, people with non-redhat.com email addresses are unable to send mail to most libvirt mailing lists, receiving bounce messages saying the address doesn't exist eg Final-Recipient: rfc822; libvirt-users@redhat.com Action: failed Status: 5.0.0 Remote-MTA: dns; us-smtp-inbound-1.mimecast.com Diagnostic-Code: smtp; 550 Invalid

Fwd: samba & Oracle ACFS Issues
Hi there In an Oracle RAC cluster using ACFS (as file-system) where we have a samba server for sharing files to windows clients, we are suffering a strange issue, from time to time, which it causes the Windows clients lock for a while (10 min or a bit more) or even indefinitely when they are working with the share resource, and sometimes we have to re-start the samba service to come back to

[FWD: [Qemu-devel] KVM Forum 2013 presentations on Google+ (Hangouts on-air)]
FYI for those not able to visit KVM Forum this year, we're attempting to have presentations streaming via G+. No guarantees about success, since we're at mercy of the Hotel net connection, but if streaming fails we'll at least have recordings of all sessions to be uploaded afterwards. Keep an eye on the G+ community mentioned below if you want to try and catch any live sessions.

Re: libvirt remote connection
It seems, that I have turned off all encryption for tcp in libvirt.conf, but still rpc packets are not showed, only tcp. I suppose, that I don't need to add additional plugins to wirehark for libvirt and rpc, am I right? 2017-04-21 11:23 GMT+03:00 Daniel P. Release of libvirt-0.9.2
As planned the new release is available at: ftp://libvirt.org/libvirt/ It is a rather large release with near 400 commits included. From an user point of view the main improvement is likely to be when using migration as various work has been done to extend the protocol and to avoid having the migration command stop other concurrent operations (like virsh list). See below for a number of
