hastctl hang
Hello,
I'm trying to integrate HAST to NAS4Free (FreeBSD 9.1-RC3).
Now I have created version 9.1.0.1.531.
http://sourceforge.net/projects/nas4free/files/NAS4Free-9.1.0.1/9.1.0.1.531/
Basic CARP + HAST + iSCSI target setup can be done, but very frequently I
get hastctl hang when called:
/sbin/hastctl status
/sbin/hastctl dump
Is it better for this method not to call from a script?

lock order reversal in 10-alpha2
After booting from a 10-alpha2 disk I am seeing "lock order reversal"
messages show up from time to time. Current logs have 35 entries.
The machine normally is running 9.1 from zfs root and I have setup a
separate disk (eSATA case connected through backplane port to onboard
SATA port) that I have installed 10-alpha amd64 onto a ufs partition to
test port building with. I started by

There is a problem with fusefs-kmod and FreeBSD 9.2 and rsync. While

9.2-RC4 amd64 panic: vm_page_unwire
I'm running 9.2-RC4 on a handful of desktop and server machines (both
i386 and amd64). I have seen three panics (all vm_page_unwire) on one
of those systems only (amd64 server) during the past week.
The first two panics were triggered when shutting down the ntpd daemon
(a recent development snapshot version of ntpd: 4.2.7p387). Exiting a
later release (p388) has not triggered the panic.

9-STABLE -> NFS -> NetAPP:
I'm running a few servers sitting on top of a NetAPP file server ? everything runs great, but periodically I'm getting:
nfs_getpages: error 13
vm_fault: pager read error, pid 11355 (https)
errors on my screen ? not always same pid ? the annoying part is that it seems to always affect the same jail that is running .. if I shutdown all jails on that physical server, everything shuts down

9.2 PRERELEASE (today) / amd64
Hello,
I'm seeing a panic while trying to build a poudriere repository.
As far I can see it always happens when gam_server is started (ie xfce is
running) and under disk load (poudriere bulk build) :
(That is something new, the box was pretty stable)

Reproducable Infiniband panic
Hello,
I see a reproducable panic when doing ibping and aborting it with ^C. My
setup is two machines with Mellanox Infinihost III HCAs (one Linux one
FreeBSD) connected back-to-back.
Details below. I can upload 2 crash dumps, if this is useful. For some
reason the port doesn't become ACTIVE, so no packets arrive, but that is
probably unrelated.

Panic : bad pte
Hello,
There it is, all my computers on FreeBSD 9.1-RELEASE had panic. I can
just say there is a problem in the 9.1-RELEASE because I had no panic
before. What afraid me is that my production server also panic'ed a
few days ago, fortunately it does not appears so often.
This is a panic that happened on my desktop computer, with a graphic
card. The crash usually appears when X starts.

NFS deadlock on 9.2-Beta1
Two machines (NFS Server: running ZFS / Client: disk-less), both are running FreeBSD r253506. The NFS client starts to deadlock processes within a few hours. It usually gets worse from there on. The processes stay in "D" state. I haven't been able to reproduce it when I want it to happen. I only have to wait a few hours until the deadlocks occur when traffic to the client machine

kernel deadlock
We have a reproducible problem with FreeBSD-4.7 which is apparently a
deadlock.
The system is undergoing a filesystem stress test.
The machine is pingable, but console and most other features are
unresponsive.
The console debugger can be accessed.
The following information is available with db's "ps".
I suspect the wchan of "inode" to be what everything is waiting on.

6.4-PRELEASE sporadically panicking with fatal trap 12
Hello,
I'm running 6.4-PRELEASE, last built on 2008-10-05 with /usr/src updated on the same day.
I had a panic that looks to me very similiar to the one described here (hence the subject):
http://lists.freebsd.org/pipermail/freebsd-stable/2008-September/045405.html
What caught my curiosity is the message:
Unread portion of the kernel message buffer:
