split data into columns from dataframe
Dear r-users,   Originally my data is in notepad.  I use data.frame(...) to convert the data into columns but it has no header.  The data below is what I got in R.  I would like to extract these data:   19710629        39.3  19701126  19720629        33.8  19720517 ... when I use data2_30min[1, cbind(1,3,5)] command the result is NULL.   Then I tried data2_30min[1], it gives me the whole set of

wctdm and two tdm cards
Greetings, I have a server I'm working on here with two tdm cards in it. 4 FXS and 4FX0. Both cards work fine on their own. The problem lies with using both in the system at once. CVS as of

WinBUGS breaks under WINE > 1.1.12
Dear Wine-friends, I was wondering if any of you would have a clue around why WinBUGS (http://www.mrc-bsu.cam.ac.uk/bugs/), a nifty Markov chain Monte Carlo sampler widely used in Bayesian statistical modelling, no longer works when run through any version of WINE newer than 1.1.12. I have encountered this issue of my machines at home (which runs on Zenwalk 6.0) and work (Mandriva 2008.1) a

dbox benchmarks
http://hg.dovecot.org/dovecot-dbox-redesign/ Looks like multi-dbox scales pretty nicely. Even after 100k messages the peak saved msgs/sec is the same as the initial saved msgs/sec, even if the average slows down somewhat. I tested this by first deleting mailbox, then running "imaptest" for a second to get saving to start writing several fields to dovecot.index.cache file. Then ran
