Samba 4.10.6 for rhel7/centos7 rpms
Hi everyone, I've posted some updated source and binary rpms following the release of updates by the samba project. Updated rpms include samba-4.10.6 and ldb-1.5.5. Here are the links: - http://nova.polymtl.ca/~coyote/dist/samba/samba-4.10.6/RHEL7 As usual, these work fine for me (4.10.6) but YMMV. Please do report issues if you find some. Regards, Vincent

Change Log v0.10.1 ------------------- * Fixed bug introduced in v0.10.0: compiled scripts were also written to disk in the sieve/tmp directory and left there. This

ISDN BRI active adapters with NT mode - any alternatives ?
Having ISDN FXOs and a bunch of ISDN DECT base stations, I went looking for a CAPI compatible active BRI adapter capable of NT mode. I have found that the 'Eicon Diva Server 4BRI' fulfills theses requirements. However, at EUR 1387 for four BRI interfaces, it does not come cheap. Are there other users of similar hardware that can point me to alternatives ?

I''m using Redhat AS 4. Anybody knows does the stock kernel and netfilter had theses patches patched ? or How should I know the kernel and netfilter had these patches applied ? thanks!

List of magic wins numbers
Hi, I am looking for a list of theses special magic numbers that a samba server (or a windows box) registers with at a wins server. I already know of <00> as a ordinary name, <1b> as a domain. But what's the rest? Is there a list anywhere? Perhaps somewhere in the docs? I have searched them but haven't found anything yet. Thanks, Christopher --
