Crash and automatical reboot when using the NVIDIA card
Hello there,
I'm running a Supermicro server with the latest CentOS 6.4 versions (kernel
: 2.6.32-358.23.2.el6.x86_64) and the latest nvidia driver (331.20).
A few minutes after using the GPU for doing some HPC calculations, the
server crashes and reboots itself. This is happening every time. I know it
will be rebooted but I don't know when. Sometimes it's 20 minutes after
starting

Jitter buffer white paper?
Hi,
Is there a white paper describing how the jitter buffer in Speex works and what "side effects" (such as introducing delay) can happen? In the past, I have implemented a similar "dual buffer" algorithm to try to smooth out lost or delayed packets with a fixed know delay (no larger than 2 times the Speex frame). Thanks.
Regards,
Andy

RDMA/Ethernet wi ROCEE - failed to modify QP to RTR
Did any RDMA/Ethernet users see this Gluster error? If so do you know what caused it and how to fix? If you haven't seen it, what RPMs and configuration do you use specific to RDMA/Ethernet?

CentOS 5.5 php configure errors
I am attempting to install odbtp on my newly created lamp server running
CentOS 5.5 and php 5.2.17. The odbtp compile failed looking for lots of
zend related files supposedly in the php install dir. I learned from the
odbtp project forum that I need to run configure in the php source
directory.
So I downloaded the php 5.2.17 source and ran ./configure and got these
results:

RE: [ofa-general] Infiniband performance
Hi Jan,
I asked almost the exact same question as you about 6 months ago and someone provided some Gen4 results for me (But I can''t seem to find them in email), they were a fair bit better than Gen3.
With IPOIB, you want connected mode and a large 32Kb+ MTU for max bandwidth, 1Gbyte/sec or more should be possible with Gen 4.
Here are some of my original test results on my Opteron

PHP Source
I have a pressing need to compile a utility called odbtp into php on my new
64 bit machine with an AMD chip that is currently running CentOS 5.6.
Where can I find the source files for the CentOS recommended versions of
php. I have searched the CentOS and related repository sites and can find
php in several places but not the source files.
Thanks in advance.

Sub-directories are empty
Hello,
I have been using Red Hat 8.0 with SAMBA for a while (but I am by no
means an expert at either) without issue. Anyway I just migrated my
system to SuSe 9.0. SAMBA appears to be setup properly as I can connect
to the two shares I have from a windows machine. However I am having
diffaculty with one of my shares. This one share has a bunch of files in
it and a couple of sub-directories.

Moving Maildir folders
Our office had a user leave. Another user is taking over her duties and needs reference to the
departing user's email. I've copied that entire departed user's Maildir structure to the current
user:
mv olduser/Maildir/.* curuser/Maildir/.olduser
I did change permission and ownership on curuser/Maildir/.olduser to be the target user. I did
not bring over the olduser/Maildir/dovecot*

Using an MS Access database from CentOS release 5.7 (Final)
@Work requires me to manipulate the MS Access database (mdb) file
located on an XP box that is an integral part of a third party
application that is central to the business.
Does anyone have experience doing so?
I have used odbtp in the recent past but it is extremely difficult to
set up on the linux box as I learned when I recently upgraded from
CentOS 4.x to 5.x.
Is there another way to get

Per application configuration files
Hi,
Firstly, I'd like to know how it's possible to generate a blank
configuration with WINE's defaults so I can configure them
Secondly, I'd like to know whether you can create a configuration per
application you wish to run, whether this could be passed to wine on the
command line or whether you have to define a specific section of the
wine config file. It's just that

what do you think about write.table(... qmethod = "excel")?
Last week one of our clients reported trouble with a csv file I
generated with write.table. He said that columns with quotes for
character variables were rejected by their data importer, which was
revised to match the way Microsoft Excel uses quotation marks in
character variables. I explained to them that quoted character
variables are virtuous and wise, of course, but they say Microsoft

Quick survey for Speex 1.2
Hi everyone,
As you may have guess, Speex 1.2 is slowly approaching, though there's
still a lot left to do so I can't say how long it'll take. I thought
this was the right time to ask if there's anything missing or that can
be improved to make 1.2 better. At this point, it can't be anything
major, but there are still some changes that are possible, e.g:

Release Note Translation
Hey,
if you haven't started already, now would be a good time to begin
translating the release notes which are already on the wiki. We're going
to begin QA tomorrow and will finish the release notes from our findings
in QA. So if you now begin and watch the release notes page, you'll just
have to put the changes into the already translated stuff.
Thanks in advance (and for the work

Is transport=rdma tested with "stripe"?
Hi,
I have 2 servers with Mellanox InfiniBand FDR hardware/software installed. A volume with "replica 2 transport rdma" works (create on servers, mount and test on clients) ok. A volume with "stripe 2 transport tcp" works ok, too. A volume with "stripe 2 transport rdma" created ok, and mounted ok on a client, but writing a file caused "endpoint not

Ferret 0.10.2 - Index#search_each() and :num_docs
Hi,
I seem to be having trouble getting more than 10 hits from
Index#search_each since upgrading to 0.10.2 (ie, this was working in
0.9.4). Maybe a bug, as the #search_each doesn''t seem to use the options
parameter any more ?
Thanks,
Neville
