Asterisk T.38 Pass-Through doesn't work
What I have is: * Asterisk 1.8.10.1~dfsg-1ubuntu1, * SPA112 ATA with analog fax in 1-st FXS port connected, * SIP trunk with provider supporting T.38. My network looks like this: * spa112 (192.168.33.200/24) and Asterisk (192.168.5.253/24) in neighbouring LANs, * Asterisk connects to the provider (80.75.130.136) via router (82.200.7.184). Router has full DNAT to Asterisk server. What happens?

Send Fax from Asterisk
Thanks for sharing the link. Actually I'm looking for a different approach without installing/using third party i.e. a user sends an email to Asterisk (which is also running mail service), as Asterisk receives the mail where the mail contains attachment and subject contains destination number, Asterisk will download the file and capture the number and later send fax to destination number just

Getting T.38 issue
Hi, Few months back I configured Asterisk 11.6.0 for an outbound fax using T.38 protocol as listing down the flow below; Asterisk Fax server -> (IP) -> Cisco VGW ->(IP) -> Carrier The issue I'm currently getting when Asterisk receives warnings as listed below, it is overloading the Cisco VGW, therefore need to restart Asterisk service or sometimes reboot VGW to clear these

No UDPTL ports remaining
Hi all, Lately, I've been seeing more and more instances where I get a flood of warning messages like this: [Apr 26 14:09:50] WARNING[21054] udptl.c: No UDPTL ports remaining The next thing I know, my server is dropping calls and starting to misbehave. I use fax via T.38, so I can't just turn udptl off. I could expand the port range, but I suspect that will just mask the situation.

T.38 not working - help needed with log interpretation
Hello, at first, thanks for helping! In the meantime, I have done a lot of research and trial and error, and I could solve that specific problem. Obviously, the dialplan application "Answer" was playing a key role here. My original dialplan snippet (which produced that problem) was: exten => _00., 1, NoOp() same => n, Set(FAXOPT(gateway)=yes) same => n,
