FastIPSec and OCF
Hi,
Does FASTIPSec in FreeBSD use OCF framework ? Where can I find more
documentation ?
I wish to run cryptographic algorithms after setting a VPN. What command
should I use to run a particular crytographic algorithm (e.g. 3DES etc.)
Where can I find all such information ?

Secunia / Firefox Javascript "Arbitrary Memory Exposure" test
I just confirmed the following bug on my firefox.
http://secunia.com/advisories/14820/
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; FreeBSD i386; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20050219 Firefox/1.0
(I think my firefox is a month or two behind, from ports, but the
advisary indicates both 1.0.1 and 1.0.2 are effected.)

[solution] chkrootkit reports infected files
Hey all,
I've submitted a fix for chkrootkit port, to solve the
false positives on FreeBSD 5 and higher:
http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=55919
The topic, btw, should be "Teach security/chkrootkit
about FreeBSD 5", but it's not my first typo today.
Maintainer, please approve.
Authors, please see if you can include the changes.
I also fixed a minor bug in chk_vdir.

text bubble (rectangle)?
Dear R wizards: sorry to bug everyone twice in one day.
I would like to annotate my graph by putting text strings into
rectangle boxes with a little cartoon-like bubble with a lid pointing
to a specific location. I can draw some sort of bubble-with-lid using
the R primitives. (has anyone done something like this already?)
the problem where I am stuck is that the width of the rectangle must

Problem with "par" and "bubble plot"
Hi all.
I have been trying to plot 9 bubble plots on each page of a PDF file. For
this, I'm using :
par(mfcol = c(3,3), mar = c(3,3,3,3), oma = c(0,0,0,0));
However, when plotting the bubble plot (gstats package), it plots the graph
on a full page. I tried to plot something else with plot(x,y) and it works
as intended. So I'm guessing the problem comes from the bubble plot itself.

Possible security hole in racoon verified on FreeBSD using racoon-20030711
Hi,
while testing racoon on Linux (based on the ported ipsec-tools) the
following issue appeared:
Racoon did not verify the RSA Signatures during Phase 1 in either main
or aggressive mode.
Authentication was possible using a correct certificate and a wrong
private key.
I have verified the below problem using racoon-20030711 on FreeBSD 4.9. I will test
it using the SNAP Kit but suspect it to be

[LLVMdev] how to get profile information for 50000 runs
Hello,
Can you please tell me how to get profile information.
We have tried ::
1. lli -fake-argv0 'bubble.bc' -load
${LLVM_BASE_DIR}/Debug/lib/profile_rt.so bubble.bc.inst 50000
llvm-prof bubble.bc.inst > profile.txt
2. perl /mnt/softs/llvm/utils/profile.pl -block -edge -function bubble.bc
50000
Both the commands generates frequency count only for 1 run and not for 50000.

Integer underflow in the "file" program before 4.20
Hello
http://cve.mitre.org/cgi-bin/cvename.cgi?name=CVE-2007-1536
"Integer underflow in the file_printf function in the "file" program
before 4.20 allows user-assisted attackers to execute arbitrary code via
a file that triggers a heap-based buffer overflow."
Is FreeBSD 5.x/6.x affected too? It looks the System has file 4.12. The
port has 4.20.

make a lattice dotplot with symbol size proportional to a variable in the plotted dataframe
Handling NSE in these kinds of examples is a pain in lattice. I would
suggest using with() and dropping the data argument for simple examples,
e.g.,
dd |> mutate(new.proportion = las/total, new.bubble = total/100) |>
with(dotplot(agency ~ new.proportion, pch = 16, cex = new.bubble))
But if you care about multi-panel plots, you also need to be careful about
making sure that the
