Impulses
After playing with the vorbis code for a while and doing tons of hacks and analysis on it, I've found it to perform very poorly with impulse signals. The MDCT seems to cause lots of spreading, and it seems to result in much worse impulse performance then mp3. What is the current plan on handling this? Will a smart quantizer be able to avoid it? In typical microsoft fashon, MS audio is the clear looser despite all their hype.

[PATCH 8/8] Optimize silk_NSQ_del_dec() for ARM NEON
Created corresponding unit test, and the optimization is bit exact with C function. This optimization speeds up SILK encoder on NEON as following. Hi All, As per Timothy's suggestion, disabling mdct_forward for fixed point. Only effects armv7,armv8: Extend fixed fft NE10 optimizations to mdct Rest of patches are same as in [1] For reference, latest wip code for opus is at [2] Still working with NE10 team at ARM to get corner cases of mdct_forward. Spectral phase information in residue vectors
I found this sentence in the Ogg format specs: http://www.xiph.org/ogg/vorbis/doc/vorbis-spec-res.html "A residue vector may represent spectral lines, spectral magnitude, spectral phase or hybrids as mixed by channel coupling." Problem with generating a scaffold with an Oracle DB

Oracle OCI8, or "am I going crazy?"
All of a sudden, on three different systems, the "server_ip_address/sid_name" syntax in database.yml has stopped working for me.
