ogg123 remote interface
Hi, I've been working on ogg123 to see if i could add a remote interface compatible with the one in mpg123. This remote interface is used mainly by mp3 players which use mpg123 as their backend. The reason i did this was that i have recently encoded some of my cd's in ogg vorbis format but wanted to keep using my favourite player (playmp3list,

Repeat patch for ogg123
Hi, I have made a small patch for enabling repeating in ogg123. It adds the parameter "--repeat n" or "r n" where n indicates how many times it repeats the playlists. Zero in forever. Apply it if you like, I find it very convenient. -- Regards Niels Sandmann Jabber: sandmann@jabber.dk, Email: sandm@nn.dk -------------- next part -------------- Only in ogg123: .deps Only in

ogg123 -k 1:59 patch.ogg # minutes and seconds
Hi I have helped a user with a little patch for ogg123. He uses ogg123 for very big files, often more than an hour (blind books). When he breaks the book and later on want to go back to the same chapter, it is a little troublesome to calculate the seconds. Minutes is much more convenient as it is what is written on the screen. I guess my patch is a little buggy and would like to improve it

ffmpeg2theora start and end time support
For last few days I was trying to learn ffmpeg and libtheora API. In the process, I have modified ffmpeg2theora code to include support for start time and end time. ffmpeg2theora -s 60 -e 130 file.avi will produce file.ogg which will be from 60th to 130th second of input file (something like -ss and -endpos in mencoder). This is a useful feature for someone who wants to cut a part of video

Several problems with ogg123
I'm having several problems with ogg123 on a FreeBSD-STABLE machine. In each case, ogg123 dumps core complaining about a bus error. 1) ogg123 plays all files at what seems like twice the correct speed. When given a SIGINT, ogg123 dumps core. This is using the program defaults, including the OSS driver. Here's a backtrace from gdb: Core was generated by `ogg123'. Program

Fwd: ASTCC - INUSE Flag
Hi all. Just to update list and increase the "souls-save" database. The patch solved the problem. Now I have an asterisk-1.2.0-beta1 with asterisk-perl-0.08 and mysql-server-3.23.58-16.FC2.1 machine working fine with ASTCC and "inuse" flag. The link of the patch is: http://bugs.digium.com/view.php?id=5400 Best regards to all you in the list. Ricardo Poppi.

[nbdkit PATCH] main: More idiomatic use of getopt_long
Prefer named constants over magic numbers in the 'struct option' list, and expand the list of enums for long-only options so that the call to getopt_long() can switch directly to every option, rather than needing a lengthy if/else chain that grows for every new long option. automake 1.6 compatability patch
This patch cleans up the vorbis-tools Makefile.am files so they work with both automake 1.4 and 1.6. Some changes to configure.in were also needed in order to get things to work (and to fix some ac 2.50 issues). Please remove config.h from cvs as it is a generated file and empty anyway. automake 1.6 isn't really incompatable with 1.4, it's just more picky about you sticking to the rules:

ffmpeg2theora start and end time support - patch
After posting my previous mail, I realized that i should instead post a patch against HEAD. This is because v0.12 was released while I was also changing ffmpeg2theora.c from v0.11. So please use this patch instead and apply it to version at http://svn.xiph.org/trunk/ffmpeg2theora Nilesh Bansal http://www.cse.iitb.ac.in/nilesh/ -------------- next part -------------- Index: ffmpeg2theora.c

[PATCH 1/2] mltools: create a cmdline_options struct
Instead of returning directly a Getopt.t handle, now Tools_utils.create_standard_options returns a struct, which at the moment contains only the Getopt.t handle. This way, it will be easy to add more data needed for handling standard command line options. This is mostly refactoring, with no functional changes. --- builder/cmdline.ml | 2 +- builder/repository_main.ml

[libnbd PATCH 2/4] copy: rename <purpose>_OPTION to OPT_<purpose>
Rename <purpose>_OPTION to OPT_<purpose> for two reasons: - it is more idiomatic for enum constants to have the same prefix than for them to have the same suffix, - we hew away three characters (length-wise) from each option name, which happens to reduce the max width of "copy/main.c" to 79 characters. [patch] more ffmpeg2theora improvements
Hi, the attached patch (against current SVN) adds three new options to ffmpeg2theora: --keyint (set keyframe interval) --smoothness (set the theora_info::sharpness encoding parameter) and --noautosync (disable the new frame dropping/duplicating code). It also fixes a bug with the processing of --cropright that sometimes segfaulted. The sync adjustment code is now tuned to be more reliable. BTW

Learn Vectorization (Vectorize)
Greetings Friends, I would be grateful if you can help me undestand how to make my R code more efficiently. I have read in R intoductory tutorial that a for loop is not used so ofter (and is not maybe not that efficient) compared to other languages. So I am trying to build understanding how to get the equivalent of a for loop using more R-oriented thinking. If I got it right one way to do that

[libnbd PATCH 1/4] copy: rename (LONG|SHORT)_OPTIONS to (LONG|SHORT)_OPTIONS_OPTION
Two of the enum constants that denote command line options are inconsistently named with the rest: all identifiers should be <purpose>_OPTION, but LONG_OPTIONS and SHORT_OPTIONS (which are supposed to list the long and short options) don't conform. Rename them. Bugzilla: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2172516 Signed-off-by: Laszlo Ersek <lersek at redhat.com> ---

problem with seek_absolute in libFLAC++
Hello, I have been changing my (C++)program over to the new FLAC++ API which has gone relatively smoothly. However, the function seek_absolute() (from the FLAC::Decoder::File class) does not seem to work. It always returns false and doesnt seek at all. Using gdb, I have narrowed down the problem somewhat, but being the novice programmer that I am, I still don't know whats wrong. When I

Sphinx
Hi. I just started trying to play with Sphinx. I followed their site as far as running sphinx-server. It is listening on the default port. I copied sphinx2-simple to another file and changed sphinx2-continuous to sphinx2-server. So, I ran eagi-sphinx-test under asterisk. What exactly is it supposted to do? Here's what I get: debian:~# sphinx2-simple2 sphinx2-simple: Demo CMU Sphinx2
