I have not contributed anything because it has been difficult to gain a toehold from which I could really understand the concepts used in Ogg Vorbis. I tried compiling R-devel from the subversion sources using gcc 3.4.1 and it fails in make check at d-p-q-r-tests. It compiles and works using gcc 3.3.4.
