Why ? And why don't they show up when you ask for the zones with
samba-tool ?

Thanks for pointing that out. I had actually recently stumbled across
that page (and the GitHub repository it references,

Samba4 and NVSv4
Short story: cannot get Kerberized NFSv4 to work. I've googled a great
deal and cannot find where I have goofed (and there sure is a lot of
misleading and just plain incorrect information out there), so would
appreciate another pair of eyes. NFSv4 without Kerberos does work fine, as
does ID mapping. We're using NFSv4 in production with sec=sys, but I'm not
happy with that. My

Interesting. DC1 and DC2 have many differences; DC1 and DC3 are the same.
Maybe I will demote DC2 and join it again.

Strange DNS results
Samba 4.0.0, CentOS 6.4, bind 9.9 DLZ.
I could use some help debugging a strange DNS issue. I have two Samba4
domain controllers, dc-1.europa.icse.cornell.edu and
dc-2.europa.icse.cornell.edu. On either dc-1 or dc-2 or any client host:
# host dc-1.europa.icse.cornell.edu dc-2
dc-1.europa.icse.cornell.edu has address 192.168.15.250
dc-1.europa.icse.cornell.edu has address 192.168.3.250

TKEY is unacceptable
Samba 4.1.1 using BIND_DLZ (bind-9.9.1-0.1.P2) on CentOS 6.5 x86_64.
I have two domain controllers, dc-1 and dc-2, which each have three
network interfaces. Selinux is in permissive mode, and iptables is off.
One interface on each dc is to be shut down. So, on dc-1, I do:
# nsupdate -g
update delete europa.icse.cornell.edu A 192.168.3.250
update delete europa.icse.cornell.edu A 192.168.3.251

DFS redirection to sub-folders beyond share
Hi,
I already posted this to smb-clients, but I believe that is a very low
volume list.
We have a very complicated dfs root. Now I'm not positive that this is
how we should have done things, but it works very well with Windows
clients, so it hasn't been thought about here. This does not work with
smbclient or smbmount. I'm using freshly built smbclient from Samba
3.0.21a.

rwhod is naive
It seems that when you send rwhod an rwho packet, it blindly assumes
you are who the packet says you are. That is to say, it looks as if
any host can inject false rwho data for any other host.
I''m not convinced this is worth fixing. Opinions?

Roland,
Thank you very much for your attention to this. You should get a medal for

I have that many subnets. As for why they don't show up: they are defined
in BIND's configuration and not samba's; they never

2 weeks lost in the AEC world
Hi,
my VoIP system uses speex with framesize = 160 samples(20 ms) at 8khz,
sending and receiving paquets of 1600 samples(200 ms).
When I receive a packet, I buffered it (I have also tried with
speex_echo_playback) before sending to the speaker.
When I capture from microphone, I fist remove DC offset (I saw in OPAL
sources) and then I call speex_echo_cancellation for every one of the 10

Manager API - Call Transfer/Blind Transfer
Good morning folks,
I am quite new to Asterisk but have successfully set it up
with some BRI lines, Cisco 7940/7960, queues, voicemail, XML
stuff and the flash operator panel. When playing with the
manager API to get some stuff integrated within our systems,
I stumbled across the Redirect command and the way it is
working.
Generally, there is a difference between Transfers and

Sure, and thanks for trying to help!
These are the two correct answers when SNI is included. The
certificates are fully chained. Both certificates carry the same

CentOS 6.2, Samba 4.0.0beta3, Bind 9.9.1-P1.
I have a workking Bind9 installation which includes several different zone

When I include

Re: Live Migration Issue
Sorry, ctrl entered.
I'm hoping someone here can help me figure out what's going on here.
I've got two CentOS 7 hosts with shared storage that I'm trying to do live
migrations between and I'm running into an error with VMs that were
originally created on a CentOS 6 host and then moved the CentOS 7 hosts.
The CentOS 6 VM runs fine on the host, and can do non-live
