Borland Builder
The following modification is needed in os.h to compile under C++Builder. It has the alloca prototype in malloc.h. #ifndef __GNUC__ #ifdef _WIN32 # ifdef __BORLANDC__ # include <malloc.h> # else # define alloca(x) (_alloca(x)) # endif # define rint(x) (floor((x)+0.5)) #endif #endif Encoding a full range pure tone (500Hz) seems to cause a domain error in sqrt(). Can anyone

Default NUT PORT
In my latest patch, I hardcoded the port NUT uses for TCP communication (3493). The reason is, that I can't figure out a way how to change the numeric value of the #define'd PORT into a character string. Using snprintf() and a temporary buffer just seems wrong, since this should be handled by the preprocessor, rather than at runtime. The following files are affected: - server/conf.c (line

Migrate CentOS 3 to 4 to 5?
Hi, After the previous debacle with PHP and MySQL it has been decided that we think about an upgrade from CentOS 3 to 5, since that would solve our problem, if successful. I tried finding information on how to best attempt this, but thanks to a plethora of contradictory information my head is now spinning with a few rpm (rounds per minute). The situation is as follows: Remote box at our

chan_oh323
Hi, does anybody manage to get music-on-hold with inaccess oh323 driver? Statement like : exten => 10,1,Dial(OH323/xx,mt) works (dials the xx number) but no music is heared. Also, if I put 'r' (ringback) it doesn't work either. With chan_h323 I got this functionality but this driver had some other problems (call transfer don't work).... Thanx in advance, Victor...

chess
hi I''m making a chess board app in Rails using the scriptaculous drag and drop stuff. A couple of questions, I am having trouble putting the chess pieces in the correct place - simply it seems that when i make somethign draggable it changes its positioning to relative - not so good for putting pieces on a board. Why is this ? Also i can''t see an OnDrop callback in the API

Problems linking against libvorbis.a with GnuWin32
I'm trying to link against libvorbis.a using GnuWin32 without the Cygwin layer (that is, Mingw32). Unfortunately the linker complains about a missing function: rint(). This function is used a couple of times in libvorbis and as far as I understand this is a standard C library function. My problem is, that I cannot find rint() in any of the common DLLs nor do I know how MSVC resolves this

Compiling with GCC on win32?
Why does the source use `int64_t'. Is this suppose to be built with GCC? I have Mumit Kahns gcc, version 2.8.1. Do I need a 2.9.5 version to get the `int64_t' type? I have substituted a typedef of `long long' in os_types.h. This seems to make sense? The rint() macro also seems to be having some problems. I guess there are two meanings to __GNUC__ and _WIN32. One is the OS and

[LLVMdev] Compile error in InstrSelectionSupport.cpp
ISSUE: line 474 of InstrSelectionSupport.cpp is a conditional expression of the form (<expr> ? (ConstantSInt*) : (ConstantUInt*)), which is an unholy mixture of pointer types. ACTION: Apply static_cast<Value*> to the two pointers, as the source intends. -- Casey Carter Casey at Carter.net ccarter at uiuc.edu AIM: cartec69 -------------- next part -------------- An embedded and

tcp-wrappers not being used even w/ --with-tcp-wrappers
Howdy, It seems that even when specifying the --with-tcp-wrappers configure flag, the LIBWRAP define in config.h never gets #define'd and -lwrap never gets added to LIBS in the Makefile. To make sure I wasn't dealing with a stale configure file, I ran autoconf on configure.in to roll a new configure. I also don't see anything wrong with the --with-tcp-wrappers defined in

cross-compiling + expm1
Hello all, Just joined this mailing list -- not sure if this is the right list to send this question, but I have a question about cross-compiling R. I am working with R-1.9.1.tgz. It may just be with my version of mingw32, but it seems that expm1 is not defined, so I tried to ensure that HAVE_EXPM1 was #undef'ed before cross-compiling. The problem is that, in <include/Rmath.h> if

[LLVMdev] alloca on Win32

Is this just the state of the code at 2.0 when > built with vs.net, or is there something that I've managed to > mis-build locally? _alloca is used to probe the stack, if you asks for locals of size more that 4k. This is pretty ugly, but the names of this functions differs

[LLVMdev] alloca on Win32
Hi Thanks for the info, it led to the source of the error I was having. I was using llvm-gcc binaries (built with mingw I guess) to compile a .c file that is my language runtime, llvm-link'ing that with my frontend's .ll, and using an vcpp-built lli to run the resulting bytecode. This caused the special case in X86RegisterInfo::emitPrologue for "main" to try to align the stack

copying from Win to Linux
Hi, I'm about to migrate a lot of files from a windows server to a new, shiny samba-server. I just got a small problem : What is the best way to do this? I'e tried rsync, but it croaks on some files with names like "somethign :some.eml" the same does cp. What I'm wondering about, is has anyone else had these problems, and if so, how did you solve them? Do you have a

GCC 2.95.2(Win32/Mingw32) build
I'd like to write a DLL wrapper (BladeEnc/lame_enc style) for libvorbis. I pulled down the CVS tree today, and with very slight changes (missing typedefs for int64_t, int16_t, etc...) got it to build using gcc 2.95.2 in Win95. Unfortunately, the encoder_example segfaults. I get the same results from Cygwin as well. On a linux box with egcs 2.91.66 it builds cleanly, and appears to

[LLVMdev] alloca on Win32
The alloca hook is in lib\System\Win32\DynamicLibrary.inc all the way at the bottom. You'll see a __MING32__ #ifdef around the definition. You just have to implement those methods and it'll work just fine.
