similar to: Vorbis file analizer ?

Is there a library that decodes any file format ? I need a lib to decode ogg-vorbis (of course) and also wavs, mp3s, flac... Using several different libs is not a good solution. I don't like to use a lot of different APIs to do the same thing with different file formats. -- Giuliano.

I tested vorbis. I sounds good, but when I play something in mono, trebles are much stronger. Perhaps is stereo phase of hi bands removed to improve compression ? I't a good idea (it's not audible in most music), but it should also provide an option to preserve them.
