Ogg Vorbis DirectShow decoder filter - ongoing development ?
Hi,
ome of you may know me, i am one of the project admins of a video
related opensource project. For playback of Vorbis audio tracks in
movies, if being played on M$ via DirectShow, we are currently using the
Vorbis decoder filter from Tobias Waldvogel. However, we found out that
this decoder filter is not acting DirectShow compliant with respect to
handling of timestamps. When passing the

Interop RTP "Extension headers" for QOS?
We're setting up a connection with Level3's voip system and when we use
Asterisk or make or recv calls we get an initial pulsing noise. Level3's
Interop team explains that's their RTP extension headers and Asterisk
apparently doesn't know what to do with it. He said we need to either
ignore or of course let the traffic pass. Has anyone heard of this
before? I understand the

[LLVMdev] [llvm-commits] [llvm] r89765 - in /llvm/trunk: include/llvm/System/Path.h lib/System/Unix/Path.inc lib/System/Win32/Path.inc
G'Day,
Following Daniels comments about semantics of the sys::Path API,
he has convinced me otherwise as the driver doesn't make or remove
directories, so his semantics do indeed make more sense in this
context.
Fixes applied here;

Replace MCTargetOptionsCommandFlags.inc and CommandFlags.inc by runtime registration
Hi Folks,
Commit ac1d23ed7de01fb3a18b340536842a419b504d86 introduces a change in the way
CodeGen and MC CommandFlags are handled. It's a change that may impact some
devs, so I'd better give a small notice here.
Basically previous approach was to bundle all options in a .inc file that
declares a bunch of llvm::cl options. This file was lying in include/llvm and
was to be included in

Re: Revision 559 of ocfs2/src/inc/io.h
John,
This makes a little more sense if you take a look at the related changes
over in hash.c and the change to the prototype of ocfs_bh_sem_lock_modify
in proto.h. This is one of those instances where you absolutely require
a macro in order to get at the __FUNCTION__, __FILE__ and __LINE__
preprocessor magic.
The problem we were trying to solve here was that we were hitting a lot

diskstart.inc: PartInfo sub-constants seen as local labels
I'm working on a debugging/diagnostic image in order to debug/diagnose
an issue with very recent machines using a UFD (USB Flash Drive) which
really _should_ be partitioned but someone decides to be a little too
quick and uses it raw. (FAT* file system on /dev/sdb rather than
/dev/sdb1).
Anyways, I've got a successful first iteration that'll say what the
BIOS thinks about geometry and

[PATCH] Add some libgcc stuff to ia64's Makefile.inc
Hi,
Here is a fix for some missing libgcc magic in the ia64 build. A recent
problem with udev uncovered this. PPC needs a similar fix. Olaf will
send a patch, I imagine.
Both unified diff and bk diff (for Bryan) are attached.

No longer employed by rPath, Inc.
Hello all,
I am sad to say that I am no longer working for rPath, Inc. They have,
of course, been extremely supportive of all my upstream work, including
Syslinux, but have decided that given the economic climate they could no
longer afford to keep me on staff.
It does mean that while I still haven't figured out what to do next, I
am available to do short-term contracts if there is any

[PATCH][git-pull] core/diskstart.inc
git://git.zytor.com/users/genec/syslinux.git
Branch core-diskstart-boot-for-hpa.
I found that INT 13h AH 08h in BOCHS used ES, DI, at least when using
a partitionless HDD, causing "Boot error" from the magic check as it
was loaded to the wrong location. HPA suggested wrapping INT 13h with
the push/pop for ES's safety. This then lead to checking over for all
int 13h calls in

[PATCH][git-pull] core/diskstart.inc: Fix DS in verify_checksum
git://git.zytor.com/users/genec/syslinux.git
Branch core-diskstart-chkerr-for-hpa
verify_checksum is built to allow for segment wrap (ldlinux.sys larger
than 33280 bytes if my math is right). If the wrap occurs, DS is no
longer 0. If there's a checksum error after DS is no longer 0, it
won't be able print checksumerr_msg properly.

I'm not sure what you're saying here. In the X86 backend, for example, we
generate both X86GenRegisterInfo.h.inc and X86GenRegisterInfo.inc. The
former is #included into X86RegisterInfo.h and the
