WebSiteRobot for Linux includes ogg encoder
The Linux version of WebSiteRobot is at: http://www.netforall.com/downloads/wsrlinux.tar.gz and it was used to create the site: http://www.netforall.com/Poly/index.html in virtually no time. Here is what to expect from the Robot: When you connect to the Internet (very important) and Run the Robot (it takes about a minute to come alive) it turns your computer into a server. Why, where,

Using Ogg for non broadcast http streaming from a web site
Hi, I was very impressed with the progress that V1 made to 32kbps mono quality for streaming to modem clients, so I've decided to ditch my current dual use of WMA V8 and MP3Pro on my web site in favor of Ogg and open standards. I want to make it as painless as possible for people to hear the Ogg audio samples on my site, after bit of experimenting using .m3u redirector files and Winamp as

Hi, Using Mac Mail with 9 mail accounts, more than 150 folders, and 1000s of mails, I get far too many problems lately, and not only on dovecot, so I would say the problem lies with Mac Mail, and even more if you installed Yosemite. As far as I know dovecot handle very well accounts with 100000s email even if the size is very big. And BTW, looking for a fast and reliable mail client for Mac, to

Can only access new SAMBA fileshare from Windows as privileged user SAMDOM/Administrator, not as an ordinary user.
Cheers, that fixed it! :O) So, if I may summarise what we have just discussed. 1) All newly created samba users need to have the uidNumber attribute set to a unique value (within the range specified in smb.conf for SAMDOM) when using ad backend with RFC2307. 2) All new groups need to have the gidNumber set to a unique value (within the range specified in smb.conf for SAMDOM) when using ad

Vorbis-java wav-ogg encoder produces distorted OGG file
Hi, I have tried using the VorbisEncoder class available with the vorbis-java port of the ogg-vorbis and shout and the resulting ogg file from the encoder is jumbed up and distorted. I have tried compiling the sources and changing the quality in the source with no success. Has anyone managed to use the encoder successfully. if so your response will be of great. -- Solomon Kariri, Software

Vorbis-dev might be better.... What I mean is, you quoted a response from Frank Barchard, but I never saw his response on the list. Are there blind CCs on the conversation? I'm just trying to figure out where the rest of the conversation is. Monty

Web service and Builder doesn't return Norwegian ÆØÅ
Hi, I''m working with using Rails as a backend for a Flex 2.0 application. I use web services to access data in a mysql database. It works very well except when the data include Norwegian ???. Symptoms are: - Using SOAP I get a string of scrambled characters. Strings without ??? are just fine - Using XMLRPC just drops out the ???''s - Using REST with RXML templates returns

Suggestions for web site
Hi there, The links to the documentation of Puppet in the right side of the page seems to be ordered alphabetically, I find confusing to access the documentation using the current menu. I think it would make sense to order them according to some "natural" order for reading it. I mean, maybe it should be something like Index, Introduction, Installation, Language Tutorial... Best regards
