build problems on Mac OS9
Hello, I have been able to build an Ogg Vorbis app on Win32 and Linux but I am having big troubles on Mac OS 9. If anyone has solutions to these problems I would very much appreciate it. 1) The downloadable SDK page with the prebuilt libraries is unavailable because http://www.vorbis.com is down. Does anyone know of an alternative site? 2) I downloaded the libogg-1.0rc3.zip from

Problems with pyvorbis python bindings.
[Sorry if this is a duplicate post. My original didn't appear to have gotten through.] I had previously installed libao, libogg, libvorbis, and vorbis-tools, as linked from the RC3 download page at vorbis.com -- I downloaded and installed the latest versions of these four libraries from the vorbis.com download page, at which point my pyogg/pyvorbis Python bindings broke. I reinstalled the

RC3 Changes needed for MacOS
It looks like the Mac .exp files were not updated for RC3. The following diff corrects that problem. The CodeWarrior project files also have not been updated. They are in 5.3 format which is quite old. Would anybody object if I submitted updates to them in CodeWarrior Pro 6 format? That's the oldest version I have readily available. If someone else has 5.3 and wants to do it, you need to

Trouble building libvorbis-1.0rc3
Hi all, I was just trying to build myself a RC3 set of Ogg/Vorbis libs and tools, but the build of libvorbis bombs out on me while making all in examples. I've ./configure'd with no options, which gave no warnings or errors. After that a normal make gives the below attached output. Can anyone tell me what I've done wrong ? I've also tried removing the examples/ directory. After

Getting started with vorbisfile_example.c (MS VC 6)
Hello Hope you don't mind another newbie's question. Further to GIE's email about problems compiling decoder_example.c example (MS VC 7) using debug static ogg/vorbis libs, we'd appreciate any help getting the example files to compile on MS VC 6. The zip files we have downloaded are: libao-0.8.2.zip libogg-1.0rc3.zip libvorbis-1.0rc3.zip vorbis-sdk-1.0rc3.zip

Streaming content from BBC just stops
Hi, I've been trying to listen to the BBC's ogg broadcasts over a 56Kbps modem and have had problems. I can listen to the archived shows, but I get occasonal pauses. I assume this can be fixed by pre-loading a large enough buffer. But when I try listening to the Radio-4 stream, the buffer fills, then I get sound and for maybe 5 more seconds I continue to get modem traffic. Then the

Darkice memory leak
After babysitting liveice for few months I decided to move to Darkice. First I tried installing Darkice on Redhat7.1 but soon gave up after endless broken dependencies. Upgraded to Redhat7.2 and the rpms were accepted right away. I installed: lame-3.91-1.i686.rpm libogg-1.0rc3-1.i386.rpm libvorbis-1.0rc3-1.i386.rpm darkice-0.9-1.i386.rpm Darkice runs but it eats up memory like hell. I tried

ogg123 1.0rc3 thread issue
As I have mentioned here before, ogg123 from 1.0rc3 segfaults after playing a file on FreeBSD and OpenBSD. This happens with both the native pthread and with GNU pth. I have finally managed to isolate the problem. ogg123 crashes inside pthread_cond_wait(), specifically in the COND_WAIT() call in buffer_wait_for_empty(). *If* I understand the control flow correctly, the decoder thread waits on

mouse axes in AvP Classic 2000
Hi mates, times ago I've taken the whim to buy aliens versus predator classic 2000 from Steam. It's quite fine, the game works good except the mouse. mouse axes don't work, mouse don't moves. I don't know what to do to fix it, I've tried to set up MouseWarpOverride to force/disable/enable but nothing happens. I've opened a report on bugzilla too, but I'm not having

Classic fail-safe N
Hi all, I was conducting a meta-analysis of single proportions(i.e. without a control group) using the metafor package. When I performed a classic fail-safe N, I noticed that the result (the number of missing studies that would bring p-value to the alpha, to be exact)was different than that I got in Comprehensive Meta-Analysis Version 2.0. I wonder why R and CMA got different results. *Below is

Going back to classic menu from vesamenu.c32
I'm currently building a tree-like boot menu for my network, using pxelinux and vesamenu.c32. I jump from one page to another with "kernel vesamenu.c32" and "append newmenu". However, at some points I'd like to use the classic interface, for example with a distribution install image (in order to have the exact same interface as on the CD). I tried loading pxelinux.0
