Saving archive copy of all mail sent/received w/Dovecot+Postfix?
I'm running Dovecot 2.0.15 and Postfix 2.7.7 with postfix handing off to
Dovecot's LDA. I am hosting multiple virtual domains with multiple
users and everything is working. I would now like to create a permanent
archive of all sent/received mail with each virtual user's mail saved to
its own sent file and received file. This needs to be independent of
the user's regular

Mail archive search is now up
There's now a list search on the xiph.org website for the vorbis and
vorbis-dev mailing lists. The search can be found on each list's
master monthly index (eg,
http://www.xiph.org/archives/vorbis/masterindex.html)
It's a Perl CGI on an underpowered box, so no bitching about speed :-)

Archive mail format?
I have a bunch of old mail spread variously across dovecot maildirs
and mbox format files on several machines that are headed for the
trash. Is there anything considered to be a portable archive format
for mail messages, and if so are there tools to copy into it - or do I
have to pick a client and copy to its local storage?

I don't know enough to tell if this is pilot error on the user's part or a legit problem. Advice requested (also Cc: the original user if you can).

DocBook and XML
I think I can say I've been officially horrified into a coma.
During a routine rebuild after installing DocBook tools, I wandered
away.. and then back and after half an hour, the build was still
stalled on the same command: xsltproc.
Huh? I thought, has it crashed?
Strace revealed that it was making a bazillion connections all over
the net. Loking at the XML, it's clear why. Because

NHW Project - some news
Hello Odin,
Thank you very much for your interest and your advice!
Yes I know Monty and Jean-Marc great demo pages.So a technology demo seems
definitely interesting.As you say, a good explanation of how the codec
works one exciting thing at a time seems to be a good formula.I will try to
take inspiration from Monty and Jean-Marc pages.What I will certainly lack
is a good graphical design for

I don't think it was an idiot, just someone who left his computer for
the weekend and hasnt come back to check it. (An educated guess, to say
the least)

RV: Info
Great, just looking to confirm that there is no "official" support site;
Has anyone one tried using digital rapids hardware(cards appliances) to feed
live video / audio to an icecast server?
Thanks for any feedback!
Regards,
Ben.

Vorbis license terms? (fwd)
The license for the Vorbis audio codec was recently changed from GPL to
LGPL because it's author (xiphmont@xiph.org) felt that being GPLed would
hamper it's development.
An argument ensued on the vorbis list about the intentions and
consiquences of the GPL.
Since words are being 'put in your mouth' I thought you might like the
opportunity to comment.

NHW Project - fast discrete wavelet transform
Hello,
I forgot in my last reply that my DWT implementation can be speed up, for
example I'm doing for now:
for (;_X1<_E_;_X1++,_RES+=2) //dilatation
{
_RES[0]=_X1[0]<<3;
_RES[1]=(_X1[1]+_X1[0])<<2;
}
then
for (;_X2<_E_;_X2++,_RES+=2) //details
{
_RES[0]-=(_X2[1]+_X2[0])<<1;
_RES[1]+=6*_X2[1]-_X2[2]-_X2[0];
