You don't check for malloc failure
Hi, You don't check for malloc failure. I've made a patch that is possibly wrong but it saves the program from SIGSEGV and replaces it with SIGABRT. -peter diff -ru icecast-2.3.2-ORIG/src/admin.c icecast-2.3.2/src/admin.c --- icecast-2.3.2-ORIG/src/admin.c Fri May 2 17:40:00 2008 +++ icecast-2.3.2/src/admin.c Thu Apr 28 19:53:03 2011 @@ -291,6 +291,9 @@

version 2.3.3, file log.c bug report
Hello there, I just ran the static analysis checker "cppcheck" over the source code of icecast version 2.3.3 Amongst many other things, it said [log.c:301]: (warning) Logical conjunction always evaluates to false: log_id < 0 && log_id>= 25. Source code is ??? if (log_id < 0 && log_id>= LOG_MAXLOGS) ??????? return; Suggest replace && with ||.

I have a problem getting attachments to work in a specific case... I have the following data model (this is a relevant subset of it): - a log can have many journals - a journal belongs to a log and can have many attachments - an attachment belongs to a journal When adding on a new journal to an existing log the new journal form and the corresponding controller handle the attachment as well and

Installing Ices on OSX 10.4.2
Hello, I have been unable to install Ices2 on the latest version of Tiger. I have tried two methods: one using DarwinPorts to install, and the other grabbing the source and building it myself. Both seem to exit compilation with the same or similar errors that I don't understand. I am not a C hacker, so I won't be able to solve this myself. All the supporting libs installed just fine

documentation bugs (cvs) (PR#5543)
Hi, Below I've flagged some sentences in the R documentation (from cvs) which are garbled in some way. If anyone can clarify what these sentences should say I'd be grateful. The problems were picked up as part of the proof-reading of the R manuals by Ciaran O'Riordan. After looking at the text neither of us could figure out what the documentation was meant to say. -- Brian Gough

OpenSSH changes for BSD/OS
The following are patches against openssh 2.1.1p4 to add support for the BSD_AUTH authentication mechanisms. It allows the use of non-challenge/response style mechanisms (which styles are allowed my be limited by appropriate auth-ssh entries in login.conf). The patches also add support for calling setusercontext for the appropriate class when called with a command (so that the PATH, limits,

Ices2 compile problem on Fedora 3?
I'm trying to complie ices2.0.1 on a more-or-less stock Fedora 3 installation, and I'm getting the following compiler error (during linking, I think). /bin/sh ../libtool --mode=link gcc -I/usr/include/libxml2 -pthread -g -O2 -o ices input.o cfgparse.o stream.o ices.o signals.o im_playlist.o reencode.o encode.o playlist_basic.o im_stdinpcm.o stream_shared.o metadata.o playlist_script.o

Never had a problem since. setting <logsize> will cause an automatic log rotation when a certain file size has been reached. It renames <logfile> to <logfile>.1 then opens a new file <logfile> karl.

[PATCH] improved chroot handling
There are a couple of niggles with the sandboxing of the unprivileged child in the privsep code: the empty directory causes namespace pollution, and it requires care to ensure that it is set up properly and remains set up properly. The patch below (against the portable OpenSSH, although the patch against the OpenBSD version is very similar) replaces the fixed empty directory with one that is

can't compile ices 2 on ppc
I've tried everything I know how (and a lot I don't) to get ices to compile on this beige G3 ppc box. I've got the latest cvs of libshout and ices. Gentoo linux ppc 1.2-r1, from stage3 tarball. gcc 2.95.3 I've made sure that libshout points to libshout.so.2.0.2. Don't know what else to try. I've got the box here, and I've port-forwarded through my firewall to

XMMS plugin build fix
I think I sent a bad patch for this one already, which used a _LIBS variable. There is no _LIBS variable. :-) So, the .la file should be specified directly in _LIBADD, with no linker flag syntax. libtool will figure it out. diff -u -r1.1.1.1 Makefile.am --- Makefile.am 29 Jan 2001 18:13:29 -0000 1.1.1.1 +++ Makefile.am 21 Jun 2001 19:27:31 -0000 @@ -9,5 +9,5 @@

Now I'm back to the old problem of a 128k stream not being sent fast enough to the clients. Hi, got a little problem with the current cvs version of ices.
