Improve JIT C API
Hi all,
I would like to have better C API for LLVM JIT, as I have plans to use
it from Rust. I've sent already a patch [1] that adds possibility to
create custom memory managers based on SectionMemoryManager using C API.
What I would like to have now is a possibility to access ORC through C
API somehow. The problem here is that ORC uses templates heavily. So I'm
looking for any

sas to r
I would be incredibly grateful to anyone who'll help me translate some
SAS code into R code.
Say for example that I have a dataset named "dat1" that includes five
variables: wshed, site, species, bda, and sla. I can calculate with the
following SAS code the mean, CV, se, and number of observations of
"bda" and "sla" for each combination of

Simply, it is impossible. I just put the list completely the same context
with the MP3 tag editor with Winamp.
...Some people seem to mix ID3 tag of MP3 with comment of Ogg Vorbis.
As long as it is category-information string, you can add any thing

preserving Mac OS X metadata in rsync backups and restores
Hello all,
I'm new to the list, but have done quite a bit of researching before
regarding the support of Mac OS X specific features (resource forks,
extended attributes, ACLs, file creation & modification date).
By reading the archives, I get the impression that the current
version of rsync 3.0.0pre8 is quite far in this respect. At least it
sounds so, and I thank the developers

Improve JIT C API
Lang, aren't you going to be the major (only?) player when it comes to
Orc APIs, if you're not opposed to it having them in the C bindings
proper will certainly help. That's my vote, I understand it is
different from the previous cases but the API surface area here is
relatively small.

question about icecast & winamp & media player
Hi,
It's been pretty quiet as of late.
I have a question.
I have an icecast server housed at my provider with a very good internet
connection.
At work I'm using an ADSL line, which should be sufficient to listen to
the 128K streams I'm sending out.
However, when I listen with WinAmp, after about half an hour the stream
stutters and stops. I can restart it and listen again but it

Jumpy Video
Hi!
I tried two theora experiments lately... One encoding a Quicktime MOV
file using ffmpeg2theora and one using Thoggen.
Both times I had a very jumpy result... The thoggen-encoded DVD would
'jump' every half second or so, as if there was a slight, perhaps 20ms
pause. Audio would remain synced though.
The quicktime file would jump even more, being reduced to looking like a
crisp 2fps

CAPI, transfering thru a 2nd PBX - keep original CallerID
Good day,
I want to have Asterisk as my gateway to the outside world and use
another PBX to connect my existing phones.
How do I specify the dial string to forward the original Caller ID to
over the ISDN to the second PBX?
Right now, my extensions.conf looks like this:
exten => ${OUTSIDEMSN},1,Dial,CAPI/${MSN2NDPBX}:${EXTEN}
How do I transfer the caller Id information initially coming

GSoC - Syncing docs between GitHub and CentOS's git repo
Hi Kunal!
Thanks for your reply! I think the official mirroring is a great method because of higher efficiency.
Another thing I am trying to solve is how to retrieve and store all the discussion / issue / PR on GitHub? These functions are great for a doc toolchain. However we shouldn?t rely on GitHub as a part of our project. My plan now is to use bugs.cents.org as a place to discuss about docs

Postfix and choice of RBL
Hi,
I'm managing several mail servers running CentOS 7, Postfix and Dovecot.
SpamAssassin is filtering mail nicely, but I'm considering using RBL
(blacklists) to take some load off the servers.
General question to those of you who use RBL. Which lists do you
recommend using?
Cheers,
Niki
