The result was the opposite that I got for the illuminable: the illuminable package registered the types but WiMP couldn't find the codecs, the Matroska didn't register the types but it did make the codecs available. I've put together a first cut for a Win32 DLL using the BladeEnc interface. Right now, it's just a drop-in replacement for BladeEnc.dll that ignores all encoding parameters passed to it and uses the info_A vorbis_info struct (same as the encoder_example). Christian, I have successfully integrated your ACM codec in our applications, but I have run into one minor issue. In a code comment you imply that fmtnotice is an optional part of the WAVEFORMATEX extra data. I tried to play a file that had no fmtnotice but Windows did not recognize it as valid and did not play the audio. Your work is very much appreciated here and we are anxiously awaiting
