Rjava, RImageJ, and/or S4 question.
I am out of my league with this question. The following code starts the java imaging program ImageJ from within R, and displays an image (assuming ImageJ is installed on your computer). library(RImageJ) img <- IJ$openImage( file.choose() ) #pick an available .tif file img$show() # make the image object visible # An image is now displayed # find out about the objects involved >

Is this a bug, or the way that it is supposed to function? Thank you,

Samba and ufw (mmcg29440@frontier.com)
Rowland, Thank you for all your help, I agree that this is not a Samba issue. Given rhat it works without the firewall. It' either a ufw or Windows 8.1 issue. Louis, Applied the rules you suggested to ufw exactly as written. No change. Still cannot connect with firewall enabled. Same error mesage as before "Cannot mount location ...". ufw log set to medium and copied below.
