When I converted two files with ffmpeg2theora their duration changed shorter - they seem to play back with accelerated speed. When I play one of them with VLC, the video stops at 99 seconds but audio continues until 170 seconds. The other file is 120 seconds long but it is played back in 80 seconds. Hi, I'm just attempting to re-encode some 720p HD (720x576) mpeg2-transport files to theora using ffmpeg2theora. However it seems impossible to get the framerate right; if I leave it on default the framerate seems to be doubled, if I force input fps to 50 it seems to go half speed. I've put together a first cut for a Win32 DLL using the BladeEnc interface. Right now, it's just a drop-in replacement for BladeEnc.dll that ignores all encoding parameters passed to it and uses the info_A vorbis_info struct (same as the encoder_example).
