Gettin station Ident played on connectiong to stream
Hi,
Is it possible to get a Station Ident to play on connecting to the stream
using Icecast?, before 'really' connecting to the actual station, if you
see what I mean...
Any more information required, please just say! (I am new to all this!!)
Thanks,

error using method ls.ranking.capa.ident
I'm trying to run the generalized least square approach for my 2-additive
problem,
unfortunately this error appeared. I have tried to figure out the error from
the mailing list
but couldn't find the solution. Any help is highly appreciated.
This is my source code:

Troubleshoot "could not write ident string" error
Hi there,
I have an sshd running in a virtual machine running openSUSE 12.3. I
want to connect to that VM via ssh (the host OS is Debian Testing), but
it fails. In the syslog of the VM I only recieve ""could not write ident
string to <IP>", even with LogLevel set to DEBUG.
I had a brief look at the source code but was not able to understand
what is going wrong. Searching for

Winamp decoder plugin user-agent ident
Hi:
Have been testing the latest winamp plugins on my icecast2 stream
(http://bumpy.braille.uwo.ca:9000/test.ogg <plug plug>) and I noticed that
in the field where the player/browser is listed in the log entries I see
Mozilla for the winamp plugin. Isn't this ummmm. wrong?
Geoff.

ident daemon: oIdentd creating a lot of processes
hi! all,
i'm using oidentd-2.0.8 installed through /usr/ports/security/oidentd
for ident authentication
what puzzled me is when im starting the daemon using the script
provided at /usr/local/etc/rc.d/oidentd.sh it will create a lot of
process ID and my system will become slow
CPU resources will turn upside down rapidly from 90+% idle to always 0% idle
this is the PIDs while querying daemon
