Here's another problem I have with the 0.24 version of ffmpeg2theora. When I try to convert a h264 file to theora... (Note that for size and runtime reasons, foo.mts is a truncated file, I just took the first 32MB of the original file) ffmpeg2theora-0.24.linux32.bin foo.mts -x 1280 -y 720 -o foo-ffmpeg2theora-0.24.ogv Input #0, mpegts, from 'foo.mts': Duration: 00:00:15.83, start:

I think this is a bug (video call file) 11.25.1 and 13.13.1
I can create an audio call file and specify Application: Playback and Data: a path to the audio file, it calls the phone and plays the audio message just fine. I am trying to do the same with a video file. I specify Application: Playback and Data: the path to the video file (no ending of course), and I do specify also the Codecs: h264,h263 etc... Asterisk reports: *File /tmp/video does not

ZDNet reviews Samba 2.2
eWeek reviewed Samba 2.2 at : http://www.zdnet.com/eweek/stories/general/0,11011,2712294,00.html - they seem to like it ! It's certainly encouraging to get trade coverage like this, I'm hoping the more people who report Samba use in their organisation to press outlets will encourage them to cover more Open Source/Free Software products ! Cheers, Jeremy Allison, Samba Team. --

Asterisk behind NAT Early Media Video
I just noticed, the calling device isn't even sending the early media video stream. It just sends an early media audio stream. Is there propably a change in the signaling needed? (On another P2P SIP Server the early media video works.) 2018-04-10 12:29 GMT+02:00 Benjamin Marty <benjamin.marty at gmail.com>: > Hi Florian > > I already have the external_media_address set in the

Asterisk 13.26.0 webRTC: Asterisk not passing along video
Hello I am trying to set up webRTC video calls from my Chrome webbrowser (Fedora) to my Chrome webbrowser (Windows 10). There is local video input (I can see myself), but never video on the receiving side. This is the case in both directions (so it makes no difference which peer is calling which peer). Both webRTC SIP peers have opus and H264 codec in their peer definition :   Video

comentator's article
This is an article I came across on zdnet.com. You may or may not agree with it. Personally, I don't. Anyway, here's the link to it. I thought some of you might want to read it, and form your own opinion. http://blogs.zdnet.com/Murphy/?p=769 Thanks for the help on the wireless problem. Jim

video development
Hi Fran, you could do it using Adobe/Macromedia Flash Media Server 2, but I guess that's not the answer you are looking for. If you manage to do this and release it under GPL I'll kick in $50 for a bounty. [PATCH] Replace mkproto.pl with mkproto.awk

It might not be rare, but it's certainly less universally available than awk, which is preinstalled on pretty much every unix-like OS out there. > There are many flavours of AWK. Stream HD video
I agree I have not seen any H264 streaming info for icecast2. If you are however interested in using ogg/vorbis (Theora) look up Theora Streaming Studio in the Theora Cookbook and it will give you some info. Additionally if you wish to script this task you can look up the info on the three commands TSS wraps, specifically dvgrab/ffmpeg2theora/oggfwd. if your source file is in a h264 medium you

Converting asterisk h264 recordings
Hello, We are setting up an asterisk system for voicemail with video possibilities. We are not using the voicemail app, but rather writing our own dialplan logic. The part of recording, and replaying, the voicemail works, and we receive both an h264 and an wav-file. What I now wonder is how to convert these into one file playable by a (standard) media player. I have not found any real good

call an IP camera?
Hi, is it possible to "call" an IP camera? I'm thinking about something like bridging with a music stream, but instead of streaming audio, bridge with the video stream from the camera. It would be very cool if I could just call the camera and see what's going on. Ffmpeg shows the following streams available from the camera: Stream #0:0: Video: h264 (Main),

Linux TCP flaw
Hi So after reading this, felt I should apply the fix to a CentOS6 VPS that I have. http://www.zdnet.com/article/linux-tcp-flaw-lets-anyone-hijack-internet-traffic/ The article doesn't talk about CentOS or Redhat, but I assume the problem is the same, and hoping the solution is the same. However that doesn't seem to be the case. [root at vps ~]# uname -r 2.6.32-042stab108.7 [root at
