Need SDDL Format Security Descriptor (using libsmbclient.so)
I am using smbc_getxattr() function (in libsmbclient.so) with the "system.nt_sec_desc" attribute to retrieve the security descriptor, but this is not providing the descriptor information in SDDL format. Also, I am not able to find any attribute in smbc_getxattr() which can provide SDDL format. I need to use the ACLs information extracted from smbc_getxattr() into windows SDK APIs such

[PATCH v2] vfio error recovery: kernel support
This is a design and an initial patch for kernel side for AER support in VFIO. 0. What happens now (PCIE AER only) Fatal errors cause a link reset. Non fatal errors don't. All errors stop the VM eventually, but not immediately because it's detected and reported asynchronously. Interrupts are forwarded as usual. Correctable errors are not reported to guest at all.

Login failure with SElinux enforcing + Sqlite user DB
I am having a very strange issue with Dovecot + Sqlite + SELinux in enforcing. I am able to log in via IMAPS if SELinux is in permissive, but not able to do so when in enforcing. I do not see any SELinux denials even with dontaudit's enabled. I am running Centos 5 on x86_64 with a customized kernel build and SElinux Strict policy. The log dumps below are in the following order:? 1. My syslog

The owner is root:root (I even tried root:apache). My postfixadmin.conf file has: alias /mailadmin /usr/share/postfixadmin <Directory "/usr/share/postfixadmin"> AllowOverride

ADS membership with Samba 3.0.4
Hi, Thanks for that information. So, now if I am to include Winbind, I would like to know what other system libraries (Linux based) winbind uses. The deciding factor now would be on how easy or tough it would be to get these libraries running on some thing like VxWorks. As far as I remember, in the 2.2.x series, if Samba was configured with security = DOMAIN, then smbd would connect to the

Query on Tremor-lowmem version
Hi, While following the developer mailing list, I came across "tremor-lowmem" version. I did some search of it in Xiph.org and "tremor" source code but wasn't able to find it. I would like to know if there is any separate thread for the "tremor-lowmem" version as we are working on the fixed point implementation of Vorbis code and we are looking forward for
