Bug#695221: confirmed bug, serious
control: severity +2 serious I would call this an RC bug (serious), but not critical It would be critical if the user lost data from some unrelated application, etc It is serious because a) it makes the package and the whole system unusable for all but one very specific network configuration (users with a /24) b) using good old `xm' style Xen I never experienced any issue like this,

Networkbrowsing with different subnetmasks
Dear all, I have a workgroup withonly windows 200 workstations in it and one Samba version 2.212 The network is bridged with a subnet mask 255.255.255.240 >From the WAN side you get: Internet > Modem/router > first NIC > firewall and out to LAN via second NIC Because the second NIC has no IP address the browsing is done by the first NIC avoiding that the information is not going

XCP - xenserver tools required?
One of the issues I''ve had using XenServer in a multitenant environment is the requirement for the VMs to have xentools installed as it causes significant issues when upgrading the VM OS or the pool from one version of XenServer (XCP) to another. Having to touch hundreds VMs (by hand) after an upgrade just doesn''t scale nor is delegating the task to VM owners an option.

Hello All, This bug has been fixed upstream, for the fix see: https://github.com/xen-org/xen-api/commit/abed1d6321a9f56822e5c7a5ce3b183e25c90bb9 If this could be applied to a patch that would be great. Cheers, Harrie

Using samba on two domains
Hello all, We've been using samba version 3.0.4 on RH9 with success for quite a while now for shares on our domain (DOM1). Since this machine will have to be available in the near future in another domain (DOM2) as a webserver, and limited fileserver, another network interface has been added for the NIC. When browsing the shares from a WIN98SE computer in DOM2, we are able to see the

I strongly suggest you start by reading the Speex manual (you can skip the technical parts about CELP). If you still ask questions, then post them. You want to return to a previous activation record (pascal speak) or stack frame? If yes, then yes, EH will do that for you. You'll want to understand what EH is in detail and how to map the semantics you want

Sorry if this question has been asked before I looked through some of the archives before posting this. I am considering using dovecot on a small 35 user enviorment (only around 6 gigs of email) that will be primarly be used with squirrelmail for the MUA. I have been using dovecot for a few weeks now and really like it. It is a big improvement over uw-imap thats for sure. I was wondering how many

Prebuffering best practices
Ok, this is a silly question, but what does the jitter buffer do? I'm really new to audio, so please bear with me. From what I gather (primarily from the list archive), the jitter buffer is a wrapper around the Speex decoder. I give it the packets I receive, in whatever order I receive them, and then it gives me back a clean stream of audio samples. But what I don't entirely
