[PATCH] tests: Handle changing QEMUDIR
qemu-wrapper isn't regenerated if QEMUDIR is changed, so just delete it and force regeneration. Additionally we can drop the silent binary check, since check-with-upstream-qemu-1 already does a similar test with --version that will actually report an error to the user. --- Makefile.am | 5 ++--- 1 file changed, 2 insertions(+), 3 deletions(-) diff --git a/Makefile.am b/Makefile.am index

You can try a different qemu from upstream, which should diagnose whether this is a kernel problem or a qemu problem:

[PATCH v3] tests: Introduce test harness for running tests.
We would like to have a more flexible way to run tests, including running them on an installed copy of libguestfs, running them in parallel, and being able to express dependencies and ordering between tests and data files properly. Therefore introduce a test harness (test-harness) program which can run tests either from the locally built copy, or from an installed copy of the tests (in

[PATCH 2/5] autogen.sh: replace this by a simple call to autoreconf
The autoreconf tool is provided by autoconf to do what custom autogen.sh scripts in many projects used to do. Only it is more robust and widely tested. It has been available for several years, too. No reason to rely on custom code for this. Signed-off-by: Max Horn <max at quendi.de> --- Makefile.am | 2 - autogen.sh | 168

[PATCH] Introduce a wrapper around xmlParseURI.
We only use xmlParseURI to parse our own "homebrew" URIs, for example the ones used by guestfish --add or virt-v2v. Unfortunately xmlParseURI cannot handle URIs with spaces or other non-RFC-compliant characters so simple commands like these fail: $ guestfish -a 'ssh://example.com/virtual machine.img' guestfish: --add: could not parse URI 'ssh://example.com/virtual

[PATCH v2 2/7] lib: Move utilities to new directory common/utils.
Just code motion. This commit makes it clearer what is a utility and what is part of the library. It also makes it clear that we should rename: guestfs-internal-frontend.h -> utils.h guestfs-internal-frontend-cleanups.h -> cleanups.h (?) but this commit does not make that change. --- .gitignore | 10 ++--- Makefile.am
