uint decode error on visual studio...
Is this a common warning? The decoder doesn't return an error on it, but I
see it a lot in my test application on windows. It is non existent on my
linux box. I haven't tried mingw yet.
please note that I'm using visual studio 2008 w/the vcproj that Bjoern
Rasmussen made for 0.5.2 (w/some file references removed) at the moment and
it is giving a lot of C4554 warnings

Booting second label
Hi
I'm using syslinux 5.01 and is installing our bootloader using "extlinux --install /boot". In the extlinux.conf I've specified that the kontron_wdt.c32 program should boot another label once it has been executed but it never calls the second label.
Here's my extlinux.conf:
default wdt
timeout 5
prompt 1
label linuxfoo
kernel /vmlinuz
append root=/dev/sda2 #.... more

Booting second label
Hi Ady
I tried removing Syslinux TIMEOUT and typing 'wdt' but the 'linuxfoo' label is still not called. I have to enter it manually and it will start.
The "timeout=120" parameter is for the kontron_wdt.c32 watchdog. So the system will reset after 120 seconds if the watchdog hasn't been serviced.
We're rebuilding the syslinux source code since we're cross

Encoder crash in multithreading processing
Hi, I try to work with CELT encoder & decoder in 2 different threads at the
same time.
So I create/destroy encoder and encode in one thread and create/destroy
decoder and decode in other thread.
If I didn't protect celt_encoder_create, celt_encode_float and
celt_decoder_create, celt_decode_float with CRITICAL_SECTION
I get stable error in icwrs32 or ec_byte_write1 (more often) in encoder.

Celt 0.7.1 High complexity VS Low complexity
Hi,
I was checking complexity modes of CELT 07.1 encoder. If i got it
correctly everything is driven by pitch_available variable set in
celt_encoder_create function. By default it's set to 1 hence high
complexity mode is used all the time. I tried to disable it and although i
couldn't hear any particular difference in the decoded audio quality, the
cycle count of the encoder dropped

[Windows]Issue with opus 1.2 : lnk2001
Hi,
I got libopus 1.2 from the download page. I compiled it using visual studio
2015 with your configuration (Release). I integrated opus.lib and the new
include files in my own solution, but when I compile, I found 28 link
errors (lnk 2001):
- silk_Encode
- ec_enc_init
- celt_inner_prod_sse
- opus_select_arch
- silk_InitEncoder
- ec_enc_shrink
- silk_log2lin
- ec_enc_bit_logp

[PATCH] Fix CNG when effEBands is less than nbEBands.
We were trying to normalize bands that didn't actually exist (e.g.,
the last band with 320-sample frames at 32kHz).

[RFC PATCH v1] Decode(float) optimize using libNe10
Hello All,
I extended the libNE10 optimizations for float towards
mdct_backwards/opus_ifft.
I am able to get about 14.26% improvement for Decode use
case now on my Beaglebone Black. Please see [1] for measurements.
Questions
1. Since this patch needs to go in after Encode [2] patch)
should I submit this as patch series?
2. Since Jonathan Lennox posted intrinsics cleanup [3]
patch, should

opus-1.3.1 patch for ARM Cortex-M4F (single precision)
The patch prevents KEIL MDK compile warnings, like:
warning: #1035-d: single-precision operand implicitly converted to
double-precision
Actually ARM Cortex-M4F has only a *single precision* (float) FPU.
It's suit for all platforms.
See the comment at the begin of patch file.
Sincerely
Forrest Zhang

[RFC PATCH v2] Encode optimize using libNe10
Changes from RFC PATCH v1:
- passing arch parameter explicitly
- reduced stack usage by ~3.5K by using scaled NE10 fft version
- moved all optimization array functions to arm_celt_map.c
- Other cleanups pointed out by Timothy
Phil,
As you mentioned earlier, could you please address all
compile and linker errors/warnings coming out of Ne10 library?

[RFC PATCHv3] Encode optimize using libNe10
Changes from RFC PATCH v2
- fixed compile issue when just compiling for --enable-intrinsics
for ARMv7 without NE10
- Notes for NE10:
- All compile/link warnings are now in upstream NE10
- Only patch pending upstream in NE10 is the one that
needs to add -funsafe-math-optimizations for ARMv7
targets.
- Phil Wang @ ARM is working on getting this fixed.
- Note that even without

ASM runtime detection and optimizations
I wrote a proof of concept regarding the cpu capabilities runtime
detection and choice of optimized function. I follow design which had
been discussed on IRC.
Also, i notice a little drawback: we must propagate the arch index
through functions which don't have codec state as argument.
However, if it's look good, i will continue to implement it.
Best regards,

[RFC PATCH v1 0/4] Enable aarch64 intrinsics/Ne10
Hi All,
Since I continue to base my work on top of Jonathan's patch,
and my previous Ne10 fft/ifft/mdct_forward/backward patches,
I thought it would be better to just post all new patches
as a patch series. Please let me know if anyone disagrees
with this approach.
