[PATCH] fix off-by-one correction in ctypes
Me again, Here's a patch to fix ctypes. There was an off-by-one correction that looks like it isn't needed. Boundary conditions and single-entry items, like isspace(), now work for me. mh -- Martin Hicks Wild Open Source Inc. mort@wildopensource.com 613-266-2296 # This is a BitKeeper generated patch for the following project: # Project Name: The kernel C library

Thanks Wine tea
I'm truly impressed by wine, especially Codeweavers'. Not only was it easy to install, but it works! I can now use Britannica, the OED and the archives of Time magazine on Windows CDs. I'm working on getting Pegasus to find my data folders (any tips?) and Agent works fine. It did everything I wanted it to do except run CorelDraw4 (it can't decipher its fonts) and any astrology

gluster map/reduce performance..
Hi, all, i try to check the performance of Map/Reduce of Gluster File system. Mapper side speed is quite good and it is sometimes faster than hadoop's map job. But in the Reduce Side job is much slower than hadoop. i analyze the result and i found the primary reason of slow speed is bad performance in Merging stage. GlusterFS extended attributes, "system" namespace
Hi, I'm running GlusterFS 3.3.2 and I'm having trouble getting geo-replication to work. I think it is a problem with extended attributes. I'll using ssh with a normal user to perform the replication. On the server log in /var/log/glusterfs/geo-replication/VOLNAME/ssh?.log I'm getting an error "ReceClient: call ?:?:? (xtime) failed on peer with OSError". On the

Recommended settings for geo-replication for folders with lots of files
Hi, I'm currently using GlusterFS in an installation and it works quite well. Only problem I'm currently facing is synching files to the slave on folders with lots of files (e.g. images). Is there some recommended way to speed this up? Synchronisation will take quite some time if there are changes in one of these folders. I tried to search the Gluster.org website or via google for a
