CC messed up in RELENG_7 build
The sources were csupped ~3 hours ago. My CC is defined as follows: env CCACHE_PREFIX=/usr/local/bin/distcc /usr/local/bin/ccache cc I have done many buildworld, buildkernel and port builds with this setting and it never caused any problems. However today buildworld fails the following way: env CCACHE_PREFIX=/usr/local/bin/distcc /usr/local/bin/ccache env CCACHE_PREFIX=/usr/local/bin/distcc

libstdc++ not found by clang and base ld on 9-STABLE when building cmake c++ project
Hello, I'm not sure if this is right list, but has anything recently changed which could explain why cmake c++ project (http://sourceforge.net/projects/gemrb/) started to fail upon linking stage (looking like libstdc++ is not included /usr/include/c++/4.2/)? It works normally if passed gcc48 as compiler which subsequently uses (ld) binutils from ports and relevant libstdc++. I have in

Arch and latest wine : major Dsound crashes with my apps
With the latest gitwine, beginning with wine 1.3.35, I can't run any of my games anymore. Linking the FreeBSD base system with lld -- status update
As I've mentioned before[1] I've been regularly attempting to build the FreeBSD/amd64 base system with lld, in order to keep track of progress and identify issues on an ongoing basis. As of last November a 'buildword' (i.e., userland build) ran to completion, with several workarounds applied to the FreeBSD base system. However, the result did not actually work. I'm pleased to

OK. "net cache flush" worked (dunno why a restart isn't equivalent, but hey). So let's start peeling back other issues! MFC ZFS: when?
In several of the recent ZFS posts, multiple people have asked when this will be MFC'd to 7.x. This query has been studiously ignored as other chatter about whatever ZFS issue is discussed. So in a post with no other bug report or discussion content to distract us, when is it intended that ZFS be MFC'd to 7.x?

Re: Wine and WoW Cataclysm Patch 4.0 troubleshooting thread
I only got offered a few choices - I think I clicked yes to all of them. I read in one post that the answer is to uninstall and re-install the graphics drivers - not sure how that will help, but how do I uninstall nVidia's drivers? I have a vague memory of someone posting about lib32 paths and simlinks or something.

Wine not detecting correctly graphic vendor
Recently i changed my old 6600GT with a less old HD4850, uninstalled the nvidia drivers and install the propietary catalyst last version. But when i try to run any 3D app through wine it fails with for example: $ wine Oblivion.exe fixme:mixer:ALSA_MixerInit No master

[BUG] iconv detection in 3.0.5rc1
I've found that the inner loop for iconv detection in a lib32 subdirectory of the LOOK_DIR path doesn't work right. Here are the problems I've noticed, 1) configure only tested lib32 on the first directory, /usr, this is because ICONV_FOUND was set to "yes" on the try of /usr/local/lib and never reset (if it should be) to "no" because all the conversion tests

Explain to me how this is correct...
So... in the provision script, at some point after "self join" is printed, we do: smbd.set_simple_acl(file.name, 0755, gid) .... where file.name is "/var/db/samba4/sysvol/tmpwXFu1C" and gid is 0 (at least on FreeBSD). the "OSError" here is a '-1' ... which is startlingly unhelpful. ... but the filesystem is zfs and acls of both posix and nfsv4 are working.
