Bridging ethernet over hdlc
I'm attempting to bridge ethernet over hdlc between two * boxes. If anyone has any information they can offer concerning this, it would be greatly appreciated. Here's the configuration the companies IT guy wants to bridge. I have it working already without a bridge, but he wants the head box's ethernet to be on the same subnet as the ethernet across the span. Pardon my horrible

[PATCH RFC v6 net-next] netdev: pass the stuck queue to the timeout handler
This allows incrementing the correct timeout statistic without any mess. Down the road, devices can learn to reset just the specific queue. [PATCH 5.4 086/134] crypto: virtio: Fix use-after-free in virtio_crypto_skcipher_finalize_req()
From: Longpeng(Mike) <longpeng2 at huawei.com> [ Upstream commit 8c855f0720ff006d75d0a2512c7f6c4f60ff60ee ] The system'll crash when the users insmod crypto/tcrypto.ko with mode=155 ( testing "authenc(hmac(sha1),cbc(aes))" ). It's caused by reuse the memory of request structure. In crypto_authenc_init_tfm(), the reqsize is set to: [PART 1] sizeof(authenc_request_ctx) +

The strange case of xen_netback not returning ARP replies
Hello, I''m facing a rather strange problem with the netback interface. My setup involves a netvm, which has some physical network interfaces assigned, and a client VM where a net front is running (exposed as eth0) and which is connected to that netvm (via vif42.0 interface, as seen in the netvm on the dumps below). Now, the netvm has two physical network interfaces assigned: 1) A

[PATCH RFC net-next v8 0/3] netdev: ndo_tx_timeout cleanup
A bunch of drivers want to know which tx queue triggered a timeout, and virtio wants to do the same. We actually have the info to hand, let's just pass it on to drivers. Note: tested with an experimental virtio patch by Julio. That patch itself isn't ready yet though, so not included. Other drivers compiled only. Michael S. [PATCH net-next v11 0/3] netdev: ndo_tx_timeout cleanup

We actually have the info to hand, let's just pass it on to drivers. Note: tested with an experimental virtio patch by Julio. That patch itself isn't ready yet though, so not included.
