RweaveHTML (R2HTML) Help
I have found Sweave() to be great for producing PDF documents. I have
been experimenting with RweaveHTML (from the R2HTML) package and have
had moderate success. My main issue has been that I simply want the R
output to be shown verbatim in the HTML document but RweaveHTML tends to
convert most output to a table, for example. So, is there a way to
force the RweaveHTML driver to simply provide

Sweave - if \Sexpr{} than \SweaveInput{"my.Rnw"}
Depending on an R computation I would like to include an Sweave documents
in the main Sweave document.
How can I do it?
So I was thinking .... to use Latex features :
\newif\ifpaper
\ifpaper
\SweaveInput{"my1.Rnw"}
\else
\SweaveInput{"my2.Rnw"}
\fi
But how do I set paper to true or false given an \Sexpr ??
\papertrue % or
\paperfalse
Any ideas?
cheers

Sweave: Setting options with SweaveOpts{} when using driver=RweaveHTML
When using Sweave in connection with the driver RweaveLatex(), global options can be set with \SweaveOpts{}, e.g.
\SweaveOpts{keep.source=T}.
Does anybody know if it is possible to set global options in the same way when using Sweave with the driver RweaveHTML().

Sweave and Xemacs on Windows2000?
Hallo!
Trying to configure Xemacs to work with .snw files on windows 2000. Tried to do it how it is described in the FAQ for Sweaves.
When starting xemacs with and Snw file
*ESS* buffer contains hundrets of lines and the few last ones.

Sweave & xtable
I am just starting to learn Sweave (really neat tool). I am pretty
early in the learning curve (I had to think a moment ago whether a # or
% was the appropriate comment character).
I have successfully incorporated simple graphics and outputs, but am
having trouble getting a latex (xtable) table to function properly.
Latex is seemingly treating the xtable code as input or verbatim text.

Column-mean-values for targeted rows
Hi all,
I'm handling massive data.frames and matrices in R (30000 x 400).
In the 1st column, say, I have 0s and 1s indicating rows that matter; other columns have probability values.
One simple task I would like to do would be to get the column mean values for signaled rows (the ones with 1)
As a very fresh "programmer" I have build a simple function in R which should not be very

Problem with mpi.close.Rslaves()
I am running R 2.7.0 on a Suse 9.1 linux cluster with a job scheduler
dispatching jobs and openmpi-1.0.1. I have tried running one of the
examples at http://ace.acadiau.ca/math/ACMMaC/Rmpi/examples.html in Rmpi
and they seem to be working, except mpi.close.Rslaves() hangs. The
slaves are closed, but the master doesn't finish its script. Below is
the example script and the call to R. The job is

Rmpi task-pull
Hi, I'm testing the efficiency of the Rmpi package regarding parallelization
using a cluster.
I've found and tried the task pull programming method, but even if it is
described as the best method, it seems to cause deadlock, anyone could help
me in using this method?
here is the code I've found and tried:

outer not applying a constant function
> Or is this a bad idea?
I don't like the proposal. I have seen code like the following (in
fact, I have written such code, where I had forgotten a function was
not vectorized) where the error would have been discovered much later
if outer() didn't catch it.
> outer(1:3, 11:13, sum)

Package 'R2HTML'
I recently learnt how to use Sweave which is a wonderful tool
After which i also tried to use R2HTML as it would allow many of my
colleagues who dont use latex to be able to use and edit my work. I was
unable to make it work and couldnt find a way to implement it. I got some
errors.
I wonder if you could help me with it

Setting up Xemacs + Sweave
Dear list,
I have tried to setup my Xemacs for use with Sweave, which I indend to learn.
I have followed the instructions in the Sweave FAQ, that is to say, I put
(defun Rnw-mode ()
(require 'ess-noweb)
(noweb-mode)
(if (fboundp 'R-mode)
(setq noweb-default-code-mode 'R-mode)))
(add-to-list 'auto-mode-alist '("\\.Rnw\\'" . Rnw-mode))

Can't get Sweave syntax highlighting with Emacs
I can't get Emacs to automatically do syntax highlighting of
Sweave files. I have followed Friedrich's suggestion for code
to insert into my .emacs file. The complete section from my .emacs
file is given below. When I load a *.Snw file, font is white until I press
M-x, then the first code and document chunks get highlighted, but not
the rest of the file. Latex and Noweb menus are

Sweave and accents
Hello.
I want to write my notes in Sweave in my own language (spanish). But
my language has accents and when I run Sweave in R to translate my Snw
file into the tex file the accents are translated into unrecognizable
characters.
For example, the word "cami?n" (truck) is translated into "cami??n"
Somebody knows how can I do it?
One solution I don't like is using a

Has anyone written subscripting methods for matrices which are indexed
from zero? i.e. functions such as "[.zoffset" and "[<-.zoffset" which
would allow, given an appropriate function "zmatrix"

robj <- matrix(...)
class(robj) <- "zoffset"

I have used the Rmpi package many times before however this time I've
