no lights on TE405P, but shows up in lspci, modules loaded
I pulled a working TE405P from one box and put it in another box. I compiled the zaptel modules, modprobe zaptel, modprobe wct4xxp, but no lights on the card come on. I do an lspci and the card shows up there. I ran ztcfg -vv and got the error message Unable to open master device '/dev/zap/ctl' so I followed the instructions in README.udev the error message went away, but now when I

Nvidia says I have a 8200, but lspci says a GeForce 9200M G
Hello all, I'm debugging a card that the Nvidia blob recognizes as an 8200 but lspci says is a GeForce 9200M G. ?My original bug report is in launchpad.(https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-nouveau/+bug/557895), but I have been trying to debug further by using the nightly builds. It still requires the noaccel flag to be set to work. I was wondering if there is anyway

Dmesg log for 2.6.31-rc8 kernel been built on F12 (rawhide) vs log for same kernel been built on F11 and installed on F12
Previous 2.6.31-rc8 kernel was built on F11 and installed with modules on F12. Current kernel has been built on F12 (2.6.31-0.204.rc9.fc12.x86_64) and installed on F12 before loading under Xen 3.4.1. Dmesg log looks similar to Michael Yuong''s ''rc7.git4''  kernel for F12. Boris. --- On Tue, 9/8/09, Boris Derzhavets <bderzhavets@yahoo.com> wrote: From: Boris

Centos 5.7 - bridging firewall crash (only since the update) - dmesg output included - Trying to vfree() nonexistent vm area (ffffffff885d9000) ....
Hi. We have several Centos 5 firewalls in our company - they are all in bridging mode. We updated them to the latest Centos 5.x last night. 4 hours later there was a crash.. (previously it had never crashed - and had been running for at least 1.5 yrs) The crash occurred when someone added a rule, after rebooting it was fine - the thing is it can't have been a bad rule as the first thing

[PATCH] Fixes bug which strips every other digit in klibc-utils dmesg output
There is a bug in the way which klibc/usr/utils/dmesg.c tries to strip the initial <[0-7]> from kernel messages. The bug causes every other numerical digit to be stripped from the output. Fixed. A bug report with lots of details has been filed for Debian and Ubuntu: * http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=483186 * https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/klibc/+bug/235282

Problem passing a HP-DAT (USB) device to domU (fwd) (this time with outputs!)
(lspci-output added at the end of this mail!) Hi specialists, I''m trying to pass an HP Surestore USB-drive to a domU. I''m hiding the pci-device in the dom0, and capturing it in the domU. Although this works fine I receive the following lines in /var/log/syslog of the dom0 after a reboot ======================================================================= Aug 8
