Bug#730417: libxenstore3.0: Please make libxenstore3.0 and libxen multi-arch: same
Package: libxenstore3.0
Version: 4.3.0-3
Severity: wishlist
I want to install amd64 qemu together with libvirt-bin on a system with
amd64 kernel and i386 userland. libxenstore3.0 and libxen are the two
last libraries missing multi-arch support to make this possible. It
would be nice if you could make them multi-arch: same

[User-Question] Xen 4.2 compilation hangs at stubdom directory
Hello all,
I know that here is not the best place to ask such a question but I
think that it''s eventualy a problem of the source.
I want to create deb packages of Xen 4.2 for Ubuntu 12.04 LTS. So I
created an build environment with pbuilder, installed all dependencies
and startet the compilation of Xen.
So now the problem is that the compilation hangs without any reason in

I generally like to install things that are released separately in
separate packages. I assumed ldb was developed separately too but it
sounds like it is an internal samba-specific library?

Bug#394931: xen-utils-3.0.3-1: Manpages not included
Package: xen-utils-3.0.3-1
Version: 3.0.3-0-1
Severity: normal
Tags: patch
Manpages that are provided with the source are not included with the utilities.
Use perl-doc package at build-time to generate appropriate manpages and
dh_manpages to install them in the appropriate locations.

.deb rules in NUT trunk, on Ubuntu 7.10
Arnaud,
I just tried to build .debs from the trunk (r1254) on an Ubuntu 7.10
box, and it looks like the rules file is installing files to both
debian/tmp and debian/nut. This means the debian/nut directory is
effectively ignored (the nut_2.3.0-*.i386.deb files come from
debian/tmp instead).
I am not sure of the best way to fix it, but it may involve changing
the parameters to some of the

Another node is heartbeating in our slot!
All,
We are having some problems getting OCFS2 to run, we are using kernel
2.6.15 with OCFS2 1.2.1. Compiling the OCFS2 sources went fine and all
modules load perfectly.
However, we can only mount the OCFS2 volume on one machine at a time,
when we try to mount the volume on the 2 other machines we get an error
stating that another node is heartbeating in our slot. When we mount the
volume

Bug#688308: installing some additional docs
tags 688308 +patch
thanks
A lot of /docs/ is pretty low-level and not all that interesting to be
installed by the packages. However some of it is, and in particular some
is referenced from the manpages. I've cherry-picked the bits which I
think are most interesting in that context. Patch below.

Jessie samba 4.8.5 ( help test wanted ) (amd64/i386)
Hai,
There are some changes in samba 4.8.5 and before i release these packages i've put them in the jessie-experimental line.
This is a copy of the jessie-samba48 but with the following added packages.
Added packages : liblmdb-dev 0.9.18-5.1~deb8 these are needed to build ldb 1.3.6
The important changes are ( from changelogs ).

winbind service panics "randomly"
Hey Roland,
Since my last e-mail, I went to sleep and left the thing running. It's a
production server (from "9 to 5") and for the last hours it has been
working flawlessly. I'm beginning to think it's not really "random". Not
really sure it's a bug; it seems to happen when I check it with wbinfo (the
log I sent was a good example). But not always. Weird.
