Hi, I'm trying to configure my Samba server to support Point-and-install driver installation of a CUPS printer (the printer works with Samba when Point-and-install is not configured, and the driver is installed manually on Windows XP). I?m not sure if this is related, but there was a regression a while back in handling resource forks in folder icons. So, I read that if I set the ldapsam:trusted option, samba will directly communicate to ldap to get informations (not using NSS anymore). I must reply to my own post. Changing the fruit:locking to "none" results in a working share. Netatalk 3.1.6 is installed and from the information of the changelog Netatalk 3.1.7 doesn't change anything to the file locking (except if you're using Solaris). Am 25.
