I had XFCE group installed and working on C5.8 32 bit. I have done a fresh installation using the C 5.5 DVD. I cannot seem to find the XFCE group now. Has this been removed from Centos 5.x ? My system is 5.6, with upgrades. I installed Java 6 from the Centos repository. It doesn't seem to have Java 7. I need the development package. How can I install Java 7 development safely? My box did upgrade itself automatically from the initial 5.5 DVD installation to 5.7 How can I tell if my box has been automatically upgraded from 5.7 to 5.8 please? Hi all, We have a bit of a problem with backups. We've been using bacula to tape and now trying to disk but it's a complete nightmare as regards tape management. If there is no sound input on the client audio stream being sent to the icecast server does this mean there is no bandwidth being used - or does icecast use bandwidth even for times when there is no sound on the client input end? Hi originally I installed php 4 on centos 5.5 and then a few repos including the remi repo to upgrade to php5, which seems to upgrade/work without any issues. However when I make a change to the /etc/php.ini file it doesn't look like apache is seeing it, for example if I change the post_max_size and upload_max_file to 25M each apache still sees the default 2M. I also removed the /etc/php.ini
