A small bug and a question about CONTEXT=SEARCH
Hi, I have been looking at search and sorting with dovecot and have run into some things. The first one I think may be a minor bug because a set of commands result in the socket connection being closed without warning: UID SEARCH RETURN (SAVE COUNT) CHARSET UTF-8 (UNDELETED TEXT "foo") UID SEARCH RETURN (COUNT MIN) CHARSET UTF-8 () $ The empty paranthesis before the

RFC 5267 Contexts for IMAP4 PARTIAL results
Hello, I am looking at PARTIAL responses using a dovecot version 2.2.5 and am running into an inconsistency with the RFC which I would like to ask about. The following section http://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc5267#section-4.4 lists client requests and server responses which I have tried running against a folder, specifying the ranges that fit the contents of the folder I have selected.

mbox vs. maildir storage block waste
Hi. I recently mentioned in several posts, that I'd tended to use mbox rather than maildir, because you don't loose so much space (due to always allocating full blocks per maildir file and thus per mail). I made some tests of my archive, which consists of some 3,4 million mails at a total of 42GB). Most of these mails are probably normal sized, but there are also some with bigger

does dovecot interpret any mail headers specially with maildir?
Hi. For mbox, http://wiki2.dovecot.org/MailboxFormat/mbox#Dovecot.27s_Metadata lists a numer of mail headers: - X-IMAPbase - X-IMAP - X-UID - Status - X-Status - X-Keywords - Content-Length that are treated specially by dovecot. It also suggests, that these should be stripped by the LDA (I guess in order that someone sending you such mail cannot set the status or keywords, or even "attack

calculating correlation coefficients on repeated measures
Dear list, I have 9 repeated measures (measurement variable == 'Delta13C') for individuals (ID variable == 'Individual_ID'. Each repeated measure is "indexed" (right term?) by the variable 'FeatherPosition' and given as c('P1', 'P2', 'P3', 'P4', 'P5', 'P6', 'P7', 'P8', 'P9'). I would like to

Identifying records with the correct number of repeated measures
Dear list, I have a dataset where we sampled multiple individuals either 1 or 9 times. Our measurement variable is 'Delta13C' (see below sample dataset). I cannot figure out how to efficiently use a vector command (preferably) or a loop to create a new vector of the names of the individuals sampled 9 times. Note that the 'FeatherPosition' variable will only be "P1" for

Remote firefox configuration
Hi everyone! :-) I need to change some firefox configuration settings on a remote machine (running an up-to-date CentOS 5), using nothing but ssh for access (ie. no ssh -X or such, the link is too slow). The setting that I need to reconfigure is the one about what to open on startup --- in a GUI it is reached as Edit -> Preferences -> General tab -> "When Firefox starts".

Plotting with R: setting the y axis
I have a series of numbers I'm wanting to plot. They come from a nanodrop machine, which graphs with a specific x and y indices. X goes from 220nm to 350nm, which I can set. But the y axis should go from -5 to 65, but I'm finding it impossible to hardcode that. I've looked. I've typed ?plot at the R prompt. Google has not been my friend. _R Graphics_, if it holds the key, has not
