Bug#691805: xcp-storage-managers: Wrong path in iSCSI storage driver script
Package: xcp-storage-managers
Version: 0.1.1-2
Severity: important
Dear Maintainer,
I can not create an iSCSI storage resource using the following command:
xe sr-create host-uuid=<my-host-uuid> content-type=user name-label="LVM over iSCSI SR"> shared=true device-config:target=192.168.10.100 device-config:targetIQN=<here-target-iqn>

Bug#717575: xcp-storage-managers: Wrong path of pidof in /usr/lib/xcp/sm/iscsilib.py
Package: xcp-storage-managers
Version: 0.1.1-3
Severity: normal
This was already reported in the archived bug 691805 but I sent an e-mail and I received back permanent delivery failure because this bugs has been archieved.
Still the path of "pidof" in the file /usr/lib/xcp/sm/iscsilib.py is wrong on Wheezy.
It should be /bin/pidof instead of /sbin/pidof

Samba 4 account with a 'ldbmodify-ed' password does not login into domain from a Windows 7 VM
Dean Andrew and List,
I posted here
>>https://lists.samba.org/archive/samba/2017-April/207671.html<< that
my problem was solved, but I have the following question:
What is the possible security issues that may come from removing the
'supplementalCredentials' attribute?
Thanks,
Leonardo

Thank you so much, Rowland.
I disabled the complexity using the command you sugested (just added 'set',
I mean, 'samba-tool domain passwordsettings set --complexity=off').
'smbclient' still works, no surprise here. However I can't test the Windows
login right now. For some weird reason I can't open Windows VMs throught
VPN. As soon as I have some aditional

Vicidial + Unicall mfcr2
Hi Bruno,
actually vicidial is working on top of asterisk, vicidial doesn't know what
asterisk using in layer 2. SS7, ISDN stack, Unicall/mfcr2 is working with
asterisk. vicidial uses asterisk application to deliver call center
functionalities.
Regards,
Vidura.
================
Dear Bruno,
I had the experience of using the Vcidial with the boards of Digivoice.
It worked very well!

Most of them should already be in our nightly tester. I went through
the Alioth tests A while back and added them.

Bug#691806: xcp-storage-managers: Missing dependency
Package: xcp-storage-managers
Version: 0.1.1-2
Severity: important
The xcp-storage-managers seems to depends on sg3-utils package which contains the 'sginfo' (/usr/bin/sginfo) binary called by /usr/lib/xcp/sm/scsiutil.py script twice (lines 105 and 107).
A simple 'apt-get install sg3-utils' solved this issue so I believe that xcp-storage-managers dependency list needs to

[patch] sftp-server basepath [yet another]
Hi,
I made this simple path to make sftp-server restricted to a basepath!
This was done because use sshfs [wich base is sftp-server] to allow people
access medias [ cdrom, dvdrom, floppy, usb] from x-terms.
Those x-terms [ diskless] does not have all users, so we share a single user
and a DSA empty passphrase, with some acl scipts at .ssh/authorized keys.
Main usage of this patch is to NOT

Good to know! I hadn't heard of pidof before. However this is what I get
when I run it:
[root at web1:~] #pidof cassandra
[root at web1:~] #
Returns nothing. However:
[root at web1:~] #pidof java
27210 11418 10852
Gives me a few pids. Only one of which belongs to cassandra, as I have a
few java processes

NUT 2.8.0-7 Can't claim USB device [2341:8036]@2/0: Invalid parameter using usbhid-ups
Hi, you need a newer version of NUT. I was doing a similar project with
that library and NUT needed some PRs to get it work. IIRC, v2.8.2 has
everything needed.

Absolutely true in dom0, see other bug (which I'm reproducing in a test
environment)
