Replicate Samba3 to Samba4
Hi, Is it possible to replicate any major versions of Samba? As I don't know if there are major improvements/news on the trust relationship with Samba AD to Windows AD. Currently our setup is Samba3 DC with trust with Windows AD, i used to able to upgrade it on the dummy environment to Samba AD, but again the trust seems not working or maybe I missed something on my configurations. Roaming Profiles under Linux clients
Hi, As I configured the Roaming profiles under linux, it more or less generate an abnormal operation (in less than 2 mins) if I add/copy some files to the home directory. But for Windows XP and Windows 7 is running smoothly and it generates folders at the Samba4 server location with corresponding users. e.g. Administrator (for XP), and Administrator.V2 (for Win7/2008) based on my observations. Schema Change Breaks Replication
I believe a schema change on a Windows DC (2008rc) has broken replication with our S4 DCs. Anyone have any tips or pointers to resolve this? I have three S4 DCs [CentOS6] and one Windows 2008R2 DC. The Windows 2008R2 DC has the schema master FSMO, and I believe the Exchange schema was added. I am willing to pay US dollars to get this issue resolved. I need the replication restored, the

samba-tool to list users of the trust domain
You may be able to use another tool like 'net rpc users' otherwise we will need to patch samba-tool to support 'paging' the search of users. We don't notice this with Samba <-> Samba because a Samba server does not restrict the LDAP result size in this way (we impose a much larger per-MB limit).
