Flash Panel / Queue Slots
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----

Hello,
is there any way to make the Flash Operator Panel show which agents are
logged in in a specific queue? (both static and dynamic agents)
I've played around with the queue / queue agents settings from the Flash
Panel documentation (http://www.asternic.org). The way it is described
there, I could only make the Flash panel show that a queue

AGI scripts in Groovy, JavaScript, JRuby or PHP running on the Java Virtual Machine
Hi,
We've just finished adding support for writing AGI scripts in a variety
of popular scripting languages to Asterisk-Java.
The FastAGI server in Asterisk-Java allows you to move your AGI scripts
to a dedicated server and increases performance by eleminating the need
to start the language interpreter for each request.
Our current snapshot release includes an AGI demo in Groovy, JavaScript

Centos 5 Samba File Server dropping files
Twice I've gotten the report that a user has attempted to move a folder
of many files up one level, and all of the files disappeared. Searching
for the files in the share proves that they aren't there any more, nor
are they where they should have been moved to. I desperately need to
find the cause of this. Has anyone else seen this happen on their file
server?

Samba 3 PDC with ldapsam and login problem
Hi,
<foreword>
I am about to set up Samba 3.0.14a on Linux as PDC wit LDAP backend for
our faculty. However, first tries have only partly been successful.
First I added samba LDAP-Schema attributes to existing account, created
their Samba passwords with smbpasswd and it worked so that normal users
could log in via the windows network neighborhood and use the shares.
But, I couldn't

Multilevel logistic regression using lmer vs glmmPQL vs. gllamm in Stata
Dear all,
I am trying to replicate some multilevel models with binary outcomes
using R's "lmer" and "glmmPQL" and Stata's gllmm, respectively.
The data can be found at <http://www.uni-koeln.de/~ahf34/xerop.dta>.
The relevant Stata output can be found at <http://www.uni-
koeln.de/~ahf34/stataoutput.txt>. First, you will find the
unconditional model,

barchart in lattice
Dear all,
I have two factors 'country' and 'status' which I would like to plot via barchart (lattice).
'status' consist of three different levels and should be the grouping variable, i.e. there
should be drawn three different panels and within each panel a barchart of 'country'.
barchart(daten$COUNTRY|daten$STATUS),

Vorbis Stuff on Slashdot
I had been working on an essay of my experiences with various codecs for a
bit, and when slashdot's post came up, I couldn't help but excerpt part of
and post it up there. It got a lot of comments and moderation points, so
it's given me some "animo" to fix it up and put the rest of it out there.
I'm going to distribute this under an open content license. If anyone

Multiple homedir entries in smb.conf ?
Hi list,
is it possible to add multiple homedir templates to smb.conf ?
I have a running linuxsystem where homefilesets are mounted
from different windows-servers to subdirs like:
/home/server01/home/USERNAME
/home/server02/home/USERNAME
/home/server03/home/USERNAME
The users come via winbind. In the smb.conf the entry for the
homedir:

Y-limits of barplots
Hello everybody,
I frequently have to produce barplots from variables the natural variation
of which is far away from zero. A typical range would be, say from -16 to
-28.
So, the following example should give an "honest" presentation:
x<-c(-20,-22,-21,-28)
barplot(x,beside=T,ylim=c(-18,-30))
But using anything else but "0" for the first element of ylim
leads to strange

I've searched carefully. Maybe it's just too obvious to see for me

asterisk fax handeling
Hello,
I was wondering if the following was possible:
When somebody sends a fax to my direct number 0101234567105 (my extension
will be 105) is it possible that Asterisk, or an addon sees this as a fax,
and e-mail the fax to me?
So everybody with a private extension will be able to receive faxes in his
e-mailbox on his direct number.
Any pointers would be highly appreciated!
Thanks,
