questions about maildir to mdbox migration
Hi folks! I converted some of the spools on my mail server from maildir to mdbox. It went smoothly and the performance has been great. However, I have two questions regarding the process. First, I failed to notice the fairly low default mdbox_rotate_size, and I changed it in dovecot.conf after the migration. Is it possible to somehow make that change retroactive, to coalesce the couple

log contents questions?
I switched from using Pegasus and POP3 to Thunderbird and IMAP for my email. Now I get a lot of "Corrupted index cache file" errors in my log. Dovecot is running under Fedora 8 and is version 1.0.13-6.fc8. The Thunderbird is version 2.0.0.14 running under Windows XP. My wife's Blackberry is also using IMAP and not reporting any errors. Any ideas what the problem is or how to

Thanks for Dovecot
Hi all, Thanks for making Dovecot. I just transitioned from Debian Wheezy to Void Linux. It was fairly easy to get Dovecot working on my Void box, and having Dovecot makes all of my email activities easier by doing one thing and doing it right. Thank you for such great software. SteveT

Storing Messages in the cloud
A colleague asked me if it was possible for Dovecot to store messages in the cloud. I have not heard of it being done and therefore assume it is not possible, but I thought I would ask regardless. I tried checking on the ?One Drive? forum; however, I have not received any response back yet. Thanks! -- Jerry

Problem deleting folders with Thunderbird?
I am running Thunderbird 2.0.0.14 on Windows XP. When I try to delete one of the folders I get a dialog with the following "The current command did not succeed. The mail server responded: Target mailbox doesn't allow inferior mailboxes." I am running dovecot version 1.0.13-6.fc8 under Fedora 8. The output of dovecot -n is below; [root at www knute]# dovecot -n # 1.0.13:
