R: Using libvirt to monitor virtual environment.
Hello I need a solution for monitoring and automatic migration of Guest vm machines. A good approach would be to determine which guests to migrate based on "trend usage algorithm". There is something in java and libvirt that could be used? RegardsRoberto ----Messaggio originale---- Da: vinicius.braga at lupa.inf.ufg.br Data: 18/10/2012 16.02 A: <libvirt-users at redhat.com>

DFS in Production Environment
Good Morning, I wonder if they have had experience with DFS to provide high availability in file sharing. Does anyone work with DFS in production environment? My environment is still in the deployment phase and we have roaming profiles running and file sharing. -- Vinicius da Silva Lehmann *Analista de TI - City10* *MCP - Microsoft Certified Professional*

wine and Samba
Hi! Is there a way to run Wine from a Samba connection opened in Konqueror? When I open it via Konqueror (double-clicking=>run with=>wine), it just opens a window and close it fastly. When I activate the 'open in terminal' option, the terminal leaves blank. What can I do? Thanks. Vinicius

Samba firts DC fail over

But by performing tests for a fail over situation I realized that when the DC that created the domain is in fail over the linux client machine can no longer retrieve the list of users from the domain. I would like to know if a person has already faced this situation and if so how he

Samba firts DC fail over
Just a thought if the client machines are still getting a listing in the DNS for the failed machines wouldn't this be a problem? How would the programs know not to use the failed server? Is there a way to temporarily move the failed machines out of dns listings? On Fri, Feb 24, 2017 at 8:52 AM, Vinicius Bones Silva via samba < samba at lists.samba.org> wrote: > No, the question is

I'm using samba 4.5.5. as a DC (3 DCs). My current logging settings are: logging = syslog log level = 1 auth:5 passdb:5 winbind:5 Att, Vinicius
