[LLVMdev] Help with definition of subregisters; spill, rematerialization and implicit uses
Hi,
I have a problem regarding sub-register definitions and LiveIntervals on
our target. When a subregister is defined, other parts of the register
are always left untouched - they are neither read or def:ed.
It however seems that Codegen treats subregister definitions as somehow
clobbering the whole register.
The SSA-code looks like this after isel:
(Reg0 and Reg1 are 16bit registers. Reg2,

Working with "ts" objects
I am relatively new to R and object oriented programming. I have relied on
SAS for most of my data analysis. I teach an introductory undergraduate
forecasting course using the Diebold text and I am considering using R in
addition to SAS and Eviews in the course. I work primarily with univariate
or multivariate time series data. I am having a great deal of difficulty
understanding and working with

bayesian mixed logit
Dear all,
I am writing an R code to fit a Bayesian mixed logit (BML) via MCMC / MH algorithms following Train (2009, ch. 12).
Unfortunately, after many draws the covariance matrix of the correlated random parameters tend to become a matrix with almost perfect correlation, so I think there is a bug in the code I wrote but I do not seem to be able to find it.. dull I know.
Has anybody written a

[LLVMdev] [llvm] r210424 - Revert "Do materialize for floating point"
Why are you reverting patches for any area that you have no
authorization for ?
No build was broken. This patch is fine.
I am authorized to check in to the Mips area and Daniel is the
maintainer for that area.

.eml files rejected by samba
Hi List.
I have some weirdness here which I have no idea how to resolve. I have
been runing samba for the las two years on a suse 8.2 box with no
problem at all. Last week I had a file system failure and was forced to
rebuild. Rebuilt using SuSE 9.1 and SAMBA 2.28
When I started restoring data, I noticed that all files with .eml
extensions could not be written to disk.!?!? As an experriment, i

Hi!
Please see bellow. Note that web1.dasilva.network is the address of the

Glusterd not working with systemd in redhat 7
Hi!
I am having same issue but I am running Ubuntu v16.04.
It does not mount during boot, but works if I mount it manually. I am
running the Gluster-server on the same machines (3 machines)
Here is the /tc/fstab file

transpose dataset to PC-ORD?
Hello:
I need to take a species-sample matrix and transpose it to the format
used by PC-ORD for analysis. Unfortunately, the number of species is
very large (>5000), and so this operation cannot be performed simply
in an application like Excel, which has a 255 column limit. So, I
wrote relatively simple code in R that I hoped would do this
(appended below). But there are glitches.

How to calculate Confidence Interval for a prediction using Partial Regression?
Dear all,
I have two highly correlated variables (y and x), and both of them depend
on a third variable (A, for Area). Multiple regression (y=a+(b*x)+(c*A))
would have collinearity problems, so I decided to do a partial regression
to predict y. I did it this way:
- I regressed y to A, and calculated the residuals (e_y) (reg1)
- I regressed x to A, and calculated the residuals (e_x) (reg2)

Re gression for loop test HELP! URGENT!
Hi everyone!
I'm new to R, and I'm stuck on a problem I don't know how to approach.
I have calculated a regression in the form of M ~ D + O + S, and I would
like to take this regression and test it with other samples, 5 at a time(5
meaning 5 set, each consisting M, D, O, and S of a specific date). I assume
I'll need a for loop. Right now, My data of M, D, O, and S are all stored in

[LLVMdev] LLVM register number for MIPS DAGToDAG
Is it possible to get a register number to which the value is allocated to
in MIPS in DAGToDAG class?
More Specifically:
SDValue Reg3 = Node->getOperand(3);
if (RegisterSDNode *R = dyn_cast<RegisterSDNode>(Reg3))
{
op3 = cast<RegisterSDNode>(Reg3)->getReg();

Replacing an instruction in a post-RA pass
I'm writing a pass that looks at the operands of certain non-commutable
instructions and swaps a couple of them if certain conditions exist (a
register bank conflict in the instruction). If the conflict exists, I build
a new instruction which has the 2nd and 3rd operands swapped (using
BuildMI). Then I want to get rid of the original instruction. I had done
some searching and found that

Cannot open root device "LABEL=/" on 00:00
I have Centos 3.3 installed on a vmware virtual machine on a AMD Opteron
processor. I upgraded the kernel to version 2.4.21-27.0.2.EL, and now
when I boot the system I get the following message:
Cannot open root device "LABEL=/"
Kernel panic: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on 00:00
The server boots fine with kernel-2.4.21-20. I've change the
root=LABEL=/ to use the /dev/sda2, and

[LLVMdev] LLVM register number for MIPS DAGToDAG
Thanks for your reply Quentin. I do understand that the registers are
allocated much later in the pipeline.
I am assuming that the physical registers are allocated before
MipsAsmPrinter class.
I am doing something like
if (MI->getOpcode() == Mips::OPCODE) {
unsigned n = MI->getNumOperands();
for(unsigned i=0 ; i < n ; i++) {
const MachineOperand &MO =

fit.contrast and interaction terms
Dear R-users,
I want to fit a linear model with Y as response variable and X a categorical variable (with 4 categories), with the aim of comparing the basal category of X (category=1) with category 4. Unfortunately, there is another categorical variable with 2 categories which interact with x and I have to include it, so my model is s "reg3: Y=x*x3". Using fit.contrast to make the
