Colspan & rowspan
Hi,
What's the best way to build tables with multiple sets of column/row
headings, each spanning 1 or more cols/rows, similar to the colspan/
rowspan options in HTML.
I am using Sweave but couldn't find an option to do this in xtable. I
can obviously build it by hand, just wanted to make sure there wasn't
an easier way.
Thanks.

tcltk scrollbar
The following code should give me (at least that's what I think) two list
boxes with their individual scrollbars. But instead both scrollbars stick to
the same listbox even though they work as they should (scroll individual
listboxes). When I remove all the widgets on top everything works perfectly.
Any help would be highly apprecciated.
ps: all subsequent listboxes and scrollbars work

Generating nice tables
Making tables in templates is pretty easy, except for one minor problem.
They tend to be fairly ugly.
If you have a model with three attributes, it''s very easy to create an
html table that looks like this..
Col1 Col2 Col3
A B D
A B E
A C F
A C G
Which becomes difficult to read when you have a lot of repeated data.
What I would really like to generate

History of fact inventory
Hi all
is there a way to keep a history of facts for a given node, other than
taking a periodic snapshot of the inventory service?
Thanks

Customizing autocomplete to update more than one value upon vaule select
Good day.
Currently I have a system that will successfully add a row to a table.
Each row in this table will represent a new product being added to a
purchase order.
The user can enter a quantity and then select a product code.
The product code is the auto_complete field. This field works.
However, once the user selects a product code then the values for the
product description, buy price, and

Ajax.Updater not populating element - please help
Hello everyone,
This is related to my post a few days ago regarding multi select
lists. I''ve rewritten the code and now can''t seem to get the
Ajax.Updater in getModels() to "execute", and the element never gets
populated.
I know it''s something obvious and hope someone could point it out to me.
Thanks for any help.

[LLVMdev] "Name that compiler"
Looks like people send many names in the contest,
so shall I do too.
I propose "Lepton", loosely meaning light (featherweight) in Greek.
It is used in particle physics to refer to very light particles
(electrons, muons).
For me it also has the connotations of fastness and
restlessness (in the LLVM sense of post-compile
optimization).
