Samba4 LDAP issues
I have moved to 4.1.16 on both controllers. It did not solve my issue
(though it reduced the errors as seen in the new attached ldap
comparison). I am still getting the error telling me to see the
administrator when trying to add a user via the Windows Active Directory
Users and Computers utility.

Samba4 LDAP issues
I cannot add users to my server and after going through many google
searches and trying several things here is an issue I have found at
minimum a LDAP issue when comparing my primary and secondary domain
controllers. I do not know how to repair it and that is why I am
contacting the list. Below is the output of the comparison.

Samab DC's not syncing
Hi,
I am running a Windows Domain based on 2 Samba AD servers. The setup is
running mostly fine but I have the impression that the 2 DC's are not
syncing their information. For instance:
- I added a Windows pc to the domain last week, when I started 'Active
directory users and computers' today on a windows pc I could not see that
pc, after rebooting one of the DC's the pc

Hai,
Since your getting.
finddcs: No matching server found
> ERROR: Invalid IP address '3(NXDOMAIN)'!
There is something wrong in the base of you setup.
Check all DC's for ipnumbers (A) and PTR records.
Dont forget to create the reverse zone yourself.

joined computer not appear in all DCs (DC4 not sync with DC3)
Hello,
I had posted this in another topic, but because the problem is different, I
decided to create a new topic.
Conf:
- Primary DC/pdc Emulator as DC3
- Second DC as DC4
After an upgrade from schema 45 to 69 in DCs, when adding a computer in the
domain and if the domain to respond is DC4 the synchronization for DC3 is
not done.
I already did several tests that I already knew and also new

Hi there!
Here it is a setup with an Windows 2003 SBS and two Samba 4.1.2.
Everything is working fine, but I found differences in LDAP and need to

Ok just to verify.
DC name=
ad41.dc.samges.ru
dnsdomain= dc.samges.ru
Kerberos domain ??
Im guessing you kerberos to dnsdomain mapping is wrong.
Can you post the
/etc/hosts
/etc/resolv.conf
/etc/krb5.conf
And, can you post this line u used for provisioning?

Samba DC sync issues - help
Help, my Samba DC's refuse to sync :-(
I have 2 Samba 4.1.17 DC servers. I made some changes via Active Directory
USer and Computers on Windows. However even after a weekend the changes do
not appear on the second DC.
If I run
samba-tool ldapcmp ldap://dc1 ldap://dc2 -Uadministrator
--filter=msDS-NcType,serverState,subrefs
I see:

Tests with Secondary DC
I have installed a secondary DC in my network, following the tutorial:
https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Join_a_domain_as_a_DC#Kerberos
I have ran the following command:
samba-tool domain join mydomain.com.br DC -Uadministrator --realm =
mydomain.com --dns-backend = BIND_INTERNAL
It seems that everything is OK. I have ran the following commands in both
DC and the result was the same:

4.2.2 as AD with 2 DCs: database incoherency
Hi all,
I'm having a test AD domain composed with 2 DC, using Sernet's version of
Samba 4.2.2.
These two DC are Centos 6.6 (dc20) and Debian 7.8 (dc00).
These two are using TDB as a backend (as we have no other choice at this
stage of Samba's development).
*dc20*:~# ldbsearch -H $sam '(objectclass=group)' dn | tail -3
# returned 27392 records
# *27389* entries
