[PATCH V2] qemu-xen-traditionnal, Fix dirty logging during migration.
This moves the xen_modified_memory call from cpu_physical_memory_map to
cpu_physical_memory_unmap because the memory could be migrated before the
device model have written to it.
But because we need to know the guest address and to avoid rewriting a new
function, the call is moved to qemu_invalidate_entry. So this later has to new
parameters, the length of the mapping and if it was a write.

[PATCH] xenpm: make argument parsing and error handling more consistent
Specifically, what values are or aren''t accepted as CPU identifier, and
how the values get interpreted should be consistent across sub-commands
(intended behavior now: non-negative values are okay, and along with
omitting the argument, specifying "all" will also be accepted).
For error handling, error messages should get consistently issued to
stderr, and the tool should now

[PATCH 00/15] RFC xen device model support
Hi all,
this is the long awaited patch series to add xen device model support in
qemu; the main author is Anthony Perard.
Developing this series we tried to come up with the cleanest possible
solution from the qemu point of view, limiting the amount of changes to
common code as much as possible. The end result still requires a couple
of hooks in piix_pci but overall the impact should be very

Making a hypercall in DomU
Hi,
I have *implemented a new hypercall* and it is working fine when tested from
the Dom0 user-space. I want to invoke this hypercall from DomU user-space.
I copied all the /usr/lib/libxen* and /usr/include/xen* (recursively) to the
DomU
Here''s the code I wrote to invoke hypercall:
#include <stdio.h>
#include <xenctrl.h>
int main(void){
int xc_handle, rc;

[PATCH] xenpm: assorted adjustments
- use consistent error values (stop mixing of [positive] errno values
with literal -E... ones)
- properly format output
- don''t use leading zeros in decimal output
- move printing of average frequency into P-state conditional (rather
than a C-state one)
- don''t print some C-state related info when CPU idle management is
disabled in the hypervisor
- use calloc() for array

Re: dumpcore changes -- [Xen-changelog] [xen-unstable] In this patch, the xc_domain_dumpcore_via_callback() in xc_core.c of
This change has the effect of adding some complexity to the callback
routines. The original callback passed an opaque argument which was a
private item for the use of the controlling mechanism and its callback
function. This change removes this and specifies only an fd. While it''s
possible for the controlling mechanism to use the fd as an index to find
internal data structures, this is

Re: [Xen-changelog] [xen-unstable] [IA64][HVM] Enable CGA acceleration for VTI.
I assume this commit message was supposed to be "Enable VGA acceleration

We''re not actually accelerating CGA right?

[PATCH 4/6] xen: export NUMA topology in physinfo hcall
This patch modifies the physinfo hcall to export NUMA CPU and Memory
topology information. The new physinfo hcall is integrated into libxc
and xend (xm info specifically). Included in this patch is a minor
tweak to xm-test''s xm info testcase. The new fields in xm info are:
nr_nodes : 4
mem_chunks : node0:0x0000000000000000-0x0000000190000000

PATCH 0/10: Merge PV framebuffer & console into QEMU
The following series of 10 patches is a merge of the xenfb and xenconsoled
functionality into the qemu-dm code. The general approach taken is to have
qemu-dm provide two machine types - one for xen paravirt, the other for
fullyvirt. For compatability the later is the default. The goals overall
are to kill LibVNCServer, remove alot of code duplication and/or parallel
impls of the same concepts, and

[PATCH] Store page and evtchn in start_info_t
Hi all,
This is a trivial patch which adds the two fields to start_info_t for
the shared page and event channel port for the share. Feel free to
destroy this in any way. The python binding just fills zeros in for the
moment, making it harmless.
Mike Wray has a nicer version in his tree, but this is the minimal
version. (Thanks to Mike for the .esp fix, too).
Cheers,
Rusty.

Can you please let me know if there is any fix for chain loading UEFI boot loader using chain.c32 in 6.04 release ?
I am booting my system with syslinux.efi and want to chain load to windows or sex specific boot loader in the second stage .
Thanks
