HDT-0.3.5-pre3 is out
The -pre3 release is out and tends to be the last one before the release. This pre version adds two new features we thought it would be interesting to have in 0.3.5: - Reboot If your system features the reboot.c32 module, the "reboot" command will restart your computer. The floppy/iso images we provides includes this module to enable this feature. - Automatic Commands When starting

Japanese Puppet users
Hi all, I''ve been trying to monitor the traffic on the web site recently, and it seems like we''ve got a couple of Japanese Puppet users I didn''t know about. I''ve seen articles about Puppet on both madoro.org[1] and mizzy.org[2] recently. I haven''t looked into translations of Puppet''s documentation much, but this might be a good place

segfault in Debian Squeeze + Dovecot 2.1.10
Hello, I'm seeing a lot of these in my /var/log/messages in Debian Squeeze, I suspect this might be causing performance issues. Mechanize and Thread-Safety Revisited
This post from Aaron Patterson back in 2009 seems to be pretty definite about how to use Mechanize in a thread-safe way, but I thought I would revisit the question because there are several posts on StackOverflow since then that would seem to contradict it (of course, I trust Aaron''s answer more than random answers on StackOverlfow, but just in case I thought I would confirm it). It is

OT: Anyone Using a Time Logger?
I have multiple projects and it''s important for me to track time by client and by project. There''s a Windows application that allows me to do this, but I''m looking for a cross-platform solution. I looked at ConsultComm but it wouldn''t install on my Mac. Rather than rewriting what seems like a commonly-required app, I wondered if anyone else had something they

[LLVMdev] Typedef struct types
Hi All,   I was searching for, extracting information about 'typedefed struct types' from 'module'. I have 'struct' typedefed in a .h file. I try to use this structure instance inside a function.   My .ll file rightly defines this type in the beginning so that it can be used later. (for example below) %struct.DEBLOCK_UNIT = type { i8*, i8*, i8*, i8, i32, i32,

[LLVMdev] Heads up! New SROA implementation is going on-by-default today!
After a lot of testing and help from Duncan, Benjamin, Joerg and others, I think the new SROA is ready for some broader testing. I've fixed all the crashers and miscompiles that Duncan and Joerg have been able to find (although I'm sure there are a few left I'll tackle when there are reports), and the LNT numbers look *really* good. Here is the latest LNT run we got by flipping it on

Multi Byte Strings
Hey guys, We''ve been talking about the multi-byte patch and I think it''s time to get feedback from you guys on a possible way forward. We can include ActiveSupport::Multibyte with rails 1.2, and update all of the relevant helpers to use the String#chars proxy. This will mean that none of the action view helpers will mangle multibyte strings. Similarly, if any Strings are being

Some news about HDT
While starting the earlier versions alone, Pierre joined quickly the project giving a useful help on developing the missing features. HDT is now integrated in Syslinux since 3.74 and regarding user's inputs on it, it sounds HDT is answering some needs. User's inputs are growing, many private mails were exchanged with early-adopters, improving HDT's behavior on many platforms.

HDT & DMI updates
Hi folks, I've been off for a pretty long time and I'm trying to resume a little bit. While testing HDT I found some serious bugs in HDT's CLI mode but also took the time to update the DMI detection tables. Please find my hw_update branch which is in sync with the current git tree. https://github.com/ErwanAliasr1/syslinux/commits/hw_update Erwan,
