XCP: 2TB limit on raw VDIs
It seems that in XCP 1.0, VDIs have a size limit of 2TB, even when sm-config:type=raw is set. I understand the 2TB limit when using VHD, but shouldn''t that limit be relaxed for raw? -Dustin _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

Re: Re: XAPI on debian - sr-create issue
You''re right scout the last line. Out looks like xapi is waiting on tapdisk to plug a key into xenstore. Perhaps a udev rule problem? Perhaps someone who knows more about tapdisk than I well be able to diagnose this tomorrow. Mike Sent from Samsung tablet Sébastien RICCIO <sr@swisscenter.com> wrote: Of course, here it is attached. Bug#687319: #687319 also fixes local-SR mounting of ISOs, not just from NFS
Mounting ISOs now works as designed when using "local SR"-storage of ISO's too. Example local SR created (from cli) : xe sr-create name-label=isostorage type=iso device-config:location=/home/isostorage device-config:legacy_mode=true content-type=iso shared=true xe sr-scan UUID=<UUID given from the above> ISO-files are now available and listed properly in xencenter and

Bug#663473: xen-api: General update after the debconf review process
Dear Debian maintainer, On Thursday, March 15, 2012, I sent you a notification about the beginning of a review action on debconf templates for xen-api. Samba DC + VDI Microsoft
Good afternoon people, I don't know if you can help me, I set up a Lab and I'm testing the creation of VDIs using a dc samba, that's the scenario. 1) Samba domain controller 4.13 2) Windows 2019 server as a member of the domain, in it I installed hyper-v and in it I configured the remote desktop service. I set up the template and when I create the pool I take the following error.

Installing XCP from USB thumb drive
Has anyone experimented with installing XCP from a USB thumb drive? Is it possible? How was the installation media installed to the USB thumb drive (e.g., dd)? XCP 1.0 beta : NOOB: how do i log into a newly created VM?
Hi: Sorry for the basic NOOB question but I managed to create a VM but now I am stuck. On page 26 of the XCP Virtual Machine Installation Guide it says "VNC and perform the OS installation". I tried everything I could find (listed below) but I am stuck. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Here are two questions whose answers would really help: 1.

Xapi packages in CentOS xen-c6 repo: first steps
Hi list, Dave Scott has been working on a prototype of XenServer's Xapi running on stock CentOS 6.4 x86_64, with libvirt and ceph integration. He plans to demo this at the CentOS dojo in Aldershot next week. We'll be publishing the RPMs for this in a public Yum repo, and we would really like for these RPMs to eventually live in the xen-c6 repo. I was wondering what are the steps for

NADA Package: Referencing Data Frame Columns
The sample data sets that come with the NADA package are limited to one or two variables and a censored measurement indicator column. I try to mimic examples using my data but keep missing the target. My water chemistry data is available in two formats: long (as seen in a database table) and wide (as seen in a spreadsheet). The two structures are: str(chem) 'data.frame': 65349 obs. of

[XCP] recompiling xapi rpm changes version and licensing details.
Hi there. I needed to recompile xapi to fix a bug that was resolved regarding vdi-create not setting the sharable flag. I used the sources provided in the source-1.iso from xen.org. Everything is good in this regard, and creating a vdi that has "sharable=true" is possible, but I had a problem that forced me to revert to the older copy of the xapi binary because my XCP box was now being

Question Fe and BE device
Hello, I try to install some applications on XEN. These applications have a automated install and are based on SLES10SP3. During the installation the device searches for /dev/sr0. Which fails in the xen enviroment. I now make a work around with booting a rescue system and mounting /dev/hdc and so on. But it should not be that difficult to install something into XEN. Can Somebody shed some
