[PATCH 1/3] nfsmount.h: Add missing definitions.
linux-2.6 2ad780978b7c0c3e7877949f098cbd06e7c73839 cleaned up
linux/nfsmount.h and thus a klibc build would produce this:
> usr/kinit/nfsmount/mount.c:179: error: 'MNTPROC_MNT' undeclared (first use in this function)
> usr/kinit/nfsmount/mount.c:179: error: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once
> usr/kinit/nfsmount/mount.c:179: error: for each function it appears

[PATCH 0/4] usr/kinit checkpatch
Various coding style fixes checkpatch warns about.
The goal is not to be 100% checkpatch compliant,
but to have more consistent coding style.
As this is a trivial patch serie, will land in 24 hours in klibc git,
unless of course ml review hits a bugger.
Checked with size(3) that the generated kinit, fstype, ipconfig and
nfsmount are the same.

[PATCH] avoid spurious umount error message
In nfsmount, the function mount_call() is used to invoke both the mount
and umount PRC's. These take identical arguments, but umount returns
void rather than a file handle, so result should not be checked.
This avoids a spurious 'incomplete reply' message if
mount(2) system call fails.

Instalacion en Ubuntu Precise Pangolin
He intentado instalar R en mi portatil, con xubuntu 12.04 LTS precise
pangolin y me encuentro con:

Error: package ?Rcmdr? was built before R 3.0.0: please re-install it

He mirado por internet y he visto comentarios sobre paquetes que
necesitaban ser recompilados. Pero supongo que a estas alturas ya
debería estar hecho.
En el Debian 7.0 del trabajo no tengo

RESEND [PATCH][BUGFIX] Fix termination of the spoofing portmapper
Hi,
I'm resending since I got no feedback: I assume that the message was lost...
The attached patch fixes a few bugs related to the spoofing portmapper used
by nfsmount.
Regards,
Louis

klibc: kbuild improvements
Hi Bryan and other klibc people.
I have taken a stamp on the Makefiles for klibc, this is what
I came up with.
1) No longer recompile on every invocation
2) Correct checking on dependencies
3) Simpler makefile syntax (almost all over the place)
I compile-time tested it only.
Two open issues:
a) Do we realy use .a files for initramfs. I renemed that to the
executable.
b) I renamed

DotNet3.5 Did not install
I saw a post here recently for someone trying to get Naturally Speaking running with DotNet 3.5.
Out of curiosity, I tried to install 3.5 with the most current wine git.
wine-1.4-rc4-31-gf43f37d
I am also running Ubuntu's Pangolin, but everything is 32-bit.
Anyway, the install goes through previous versions of DotNet and mine hung up at 3.0.
I saved the install log if anyone wants it. Or

[patch 11/12] Unpleasantness in linux/nfs_mount.h
There is a conflict in glibc between <linux/in.h> and <netinet/in.h>:
one defines protocols with an enum, the other does the same,
but adds a self-define for every enumerated value.
#define IPPROTO_IP IPPROTO_IP
This means the two cannot be mixed, and since loads of include files
refer to <netinet/in.h>, effectively <linux/in.h> cannot be used
with glibc.

[PATCH] nfsmount: support nfsvers= and vers= options
The standard mount option nowadays to specify NFS version is "nfsvers", as
documented in nfs(5) on modern Linux systems. Up to now, nfsmount only
supported the old "v2" or "v3" boolean options.
Extend option parsing to support both "nfsvers=X" and "vers=X", with X
being equal to either 2 or 3 (nfsmount does not support NFSv4 at present).
If both

Latest version of R from CRAN for utopic (14.10)
Hi,
I am not in a hurry, but I would like to upgrade my ubuntu to utopic.
However, for now, the latest version of R that can be installed from CRAN
mirrors is not available for utopic.
Indeed, I am not sure I understand this sentence :
> UBUNTU PACKAGES FOR R
> R packages for Ubuntu on i386 and amd64 are available for all stable
> Desktop releases of Ubuntu until their official end of

[patch 05/12] make __constant_htons visible
The __constant_htons and similar are defined in klibc version
of netinet/in.h, but not in glibc counterpart.
Include the same thing from <asm/byteorder.h>,
which is available in both glibc and klibc.
Perhaps __constant_htons should be dropped from the
klibc version of netinet/in.h: it provides nothing that
you cannot get via asm/byteorder, and gets in the way of
porting between glibc and
