RESEND [PATCH][BUGFIX] Fix termination of the spoofing portmapper
Hi,
I'm resending since I got no feedback: I assume that the message was lost...
The attached patch fixes a few bugs related to the spoofing portmapper used
by nfsmount.
Regards,
Louis

New clangs emit some warnings. The code isn't wrong, but should be updated to

Shared versus static linked executables - and strip
I'm still pondering with kbuild and klibc.
Next in line was to get ipconfig support in the kernel (build wise).
A little challenge that is bigger than anticipated was to create
a shared executable. This required a far bigger rewrite of Kbuild.klibc
than originally planned. The good part is that I now managed to treat
linking of objects with single and multiple .o files almost the same.

/usr/src/sys/conf/newvers.sh, SYSDIR set to wrong directory.
Hello,
My 9-STABLE buildworld broke in a very inexplicable way, I was
getting an error on /usr/src/include/osreldate.h that I couldn't
figure out until I started looking at the sys/conf/newvers.sh and what
it does. It turned out that the thing that broke my buildworld was
having .git directory at the root directory of the system because I
recently started using GIT to track the configuration

[PATCH] Fix wrong NFS umount path
Hi,
When mounting a NFS share and an error occurs for some reason, the NFS
share is not unmounted correctly: the local path is used instead of the
remote path in the umount_v[23]() call. This patch fixes this.
I found this while debugging some problems mounting the root file system
on NFS in a test system; I saw this in the logs (/mnt/duplicated is the
legitimate remote path):

[patch 11/12] Unpleasantness in linux/nfs_mount.h
There is a conflict in glibc between <linux/in.h> and <netinet/in.h>:
one defines protocols with an enum, the other does the same,
but adds a self-define for every enumerated value.
#define IPPROTO_IP IPPROTO_IP
This means the two cannot be mixed, and since loads of include files
refer to <netinet/in.h>, effectively <linux/in.h> cannot be used
with glibc.

[PATCH 0/8] switch_root() enhancements
On a train ride to Bruxelles, brought out my axe and directly attacked
run_init(8). run_init(8) is dead, long live switch_root(8).
The next run on switch_root(8) involves fdopendir,
so another push for the upcoming stdio 1.6 branch.
The following is boot tested with initramfs-tools,
kinit(8) tests would very much be appreciated!?

[PATCH] ash not make -j safe, make spotless updates
some files depend on nodes.h, but there is no dependency for that fact.
olaf@mandarine:~/klibc-0.87> grep -Er 'include.*nodes.h' ash/ | sed 's-^[^/]\+/\([^.]*\).*-\1.o-' | xargs echo OBJ_NODES =
OBJ_NODES = cd.o eval.o exec.o expand.o jobs.o main.o nodes.o options.o parser.o redir.o show.o trap.o var.o
make spotless doesnt work reliable, the patch adds a few more targets.

[PATCH v3 0/2] Support drop directories directly from kinit
This patchset applies to klibc mainline.
This patchset introduces the ability to kinit to execute scripts or
executable files present in in the initramfs before switching over to
the root filesystem.
This functionality is implemented in a newly introduced run_parts()
call, which calls scandir() to iterate through files which in then
executes in sequence.
run_parts() is also available as a

klibc 1.5.24 release
Enough small fixes have pilled up to make it worth a release:
A Google patch adds sched_setaffinity, sched_getaffinity support.
Openembedded uses kexec_load(). Gentoo folks add a Kbuild fix.
ipconfig no longer wild guesses a nameserver when none is provided
by the DHCP server. strndup() and unlinkat() saw fixes for various
problems. codingstyle cleanup in kinit and tools.

hello hpa,
pushed out new patch queue :)
It contains the sync with latest dash git, renaming of some README's
to ease their packaging, sparc32 socket test and a sh4 fix by Debian
porters (numbers of changes is huge, but mostly contained in dash).
